Your book is going to be great; just put one word in front of the other.
Until we hit a plot hole.
Nope. No negativity - you drop into that hole, see what you can learn from it, clamber out and finish your draft.
You can edit a bad book, but not a blank page.
YOU CAN EDIT A BAD BOOK BUT NOT A BLANK PAGE
we need more books that are written like YA novels but have characters in their 20s… like I can’t keep reading books about teenagers but I’m also not ready for the weird adult romance section of the book store
May I recommend:
- fangirl by rainbow rowell (fic writer goes to college, comes out of her shell)
- some kind of wonderful by giovanna fletcher (woman is about to get proposed to and she is! Or is she???)
- a court of thorns and roses by Sarah J Maas (horny on main/ fantasy/ there are some abusive relationships that later get dealt with but if that’s triggering maybe avoid it)
- seraphina by rachel heartman (its been a while since I’ve read it but I do believe the characters were in their 20’s/fantasy/dragons!!)
Reblogging again for the recommendations

Happy Sunday! 🎃 How are you doing with your October/Halloween TBR so far?? … Is anyone else already behind on their TBR for this month?? 🙋🏻♀️ I always seem to be behind, so that’s nothing new for me. 😅 *Grim Lovelies* by Megan Shepard is another book on my Halloween TBR that I am hoping to get to soon, and I’ve been waiting a while to read this book. It really sounds super good, and I’m excited to check it out. (Hopefully soon!) 🤓 What about you?? How are you doing with your TBR?? And are there any books on it that you’re anxious to get to?? . . . 📚 Chapter 13. #AlltheBooksOct19 📚 Gone Too Soon. #BookQueensOct19 📚 Moon on the Cover. #BookRavensOct19 📚 Show Us Your Booty! #FearYourNovelParchment . . . #meganshepherd #books #amreading #igreads #bookcommunity #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagramfeature #bookaesthetic #currentlyreading #flatlay #yabooks

“The girl gave off an aura of distinct dottiness. Perhaps it was the fact that she had stuck her wand behind her left ear for safekeeping, or that she had chosen to wear a necklace of Butterbeer caps, or that she was reading a magazine upside down.”
🍂🕯 posted this yesterday & deleted it but seems more fitting for today. just some little fall things. i’m so excited for the season!! . “They do not say in their hearts, ‘Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives the rain in its season, the autumn rain and the spring rain, and keeps for us the weeks appointed for the harvest.” Jeremiah 5:24
