'Fire and hemlock'
What I wanted: another book by an author i enjoy
What i got: my least favourite Dianna Wynne Jones book so far. Age gaps just aren't my thing and the topic didn't catch me.
Last read (in spring): 'Blue Sisters' by Coco Mellors
What I wanted: I was surprised that I enjoyed Cleopatra & Frankenstein that much and wanted to read a second book by this author
What I got: another highly entertaining and captivating read! This time again with deeply flawed people with a lot of problems, the difference being that here they are sisters.
I just finished my first pair of sweatpants. While I sew since I was a young teenager I never had the courage to make clothes (iust altered existing ones). That's something I want to change! So this is the third piece of clothing I made this year and the first with a bought sewing pattern. Not perfect, but I don't expect it to be.
I've read 'Cleopatra and Frankenstein' in spring and really enjoyed this book and all its povs. Even though everybody was highly flawed and things got ugly a lot of the time the writing was great and oh so captivating.
A little bird-friend to test out my new pencils. They are way creamier than the ones before, so that's fun to play around with.
Help, please. I've been staring at him for too long and don't know anymore if I like him.
Is he worth adding background or should I start fresh?
Keep.
Abandon him.
I've got Ohuhu markers for Christmas and am slowly, slowly starting to try them out. They react way different than my usual materials- which is exciting yet very challenging!
