Vanessa sat in one of the chairs in Freddy's vast hall, lost in the mesmerizing dance of the animatronics. The lights flickered, but her mind was clouded, tormented by something eating away at her. Unable to contain her anxiety, Vanessa stood up and walked to the security room, finding you in front of the monitors. Upon noticing your presence, you smiled, affectionately calling her. Vanessa looked down, as if carrying an invisible burden. "Nessy, what happened?" you asked, concerned. "S/n… forgive me…" Vanessa murmured, revealing the anguish consuming her. "Forgive you? For what, Nessy?" You placed your hands on her shoulders, seeking understanding. The blonde took a deep breath before confessing, "I hide some things from you, but it's for your own good, I promise." Confusion lingered in your eyes, and Vanessa trembled as she searched for the right words to reveal her deepest secret. "You need to quit this job as soon as possible." She said with a tremor in her voice, and her expression became even more perplexing. "Why?" you inquired, intrigued. Vanessa held your arms firmly, conveying urgency. "You have to leave! If not, he'll kill you." The sudden revelation sent a shiver down your spine. "What? Love, are you okay?" you asked, trembling. "I'm not joking! You have to leave! If he kills you… I'll never forgive myself…" Vanessa cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. "He? Who is he?" you asked, and the answer left your eyes wide. William Afton, Vanessa's father, was responsible for all the terrible things happening at the location. Vanessa opened up about the secrets she had kept, confessing the horrors associated with Afton's name. "He forced me to join the police… to cover up their mistakes." Faced with disturbing revelations, your hands gently caressed Vanessa's cheeks, encouraging her to share more. She mentioned missing children, bodies in the robots, and admitted to hiding the truth to prevent you from leaving. Your embrace was the refuge Vanessa needed, and the kiss on the top of her head brought comfort. "I love you, Nessy… none of this is your fault." You said, pulling away slightly. Vanessa, with eyes full of gratitude, saw in you the strength she so desperately needed. A soft kiss sealed the promise that you would stay by her side, no matter the horrors of the past. "Thank you for not abandoning me, S/n." Vanessa's expression turned into a sincere smile as you wiped away the tears marking her face.
