hi, i’m bookdancerfics here on tumblr and Bookdancer on both AO3 and ff.net. on this blog you can find my fics in the “my fic” tag--i like to think that i have a pretty good tag system so you can also find fics by character, ship, or fandom. sometimes i post writing updates and you can find them under (you guessed it) the “writing updates” tag.

i’ve written a number of fics for a lot of fandoms (i just recently hit 100+ on ff.net and wow is that a milestone i never expected to reach).

my current favorites would be these, though:

Main pairing: Tsukiyama

Simply put, Karasuno is on their way to Nationals when they get hit from behind by a truck much larger than their bus. The series will cover the actual event, the direct aftermath, and everything else. Oh, and Yamaguchi is a yūrei.

The Foxhole Court one-shot

Main pairing: Andreil

Neil gets into a car crash; Andrew is the mountain he can lean on. Wherein I asked myself what would happen if Neil said those particular words again, i.e. “Thank you. You were amazing,” and it all spiraled from there.

One of the best things about being a writer is thinking of something small you can add to your work that’s just. Devastating. Like you’re sitting there going. Oh. That would be diabolical. People would get really riled up about that. Exquisite. Let’s do it.

Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.

I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.

Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.

PSA: For fan works, reblog and like from OP

Tumblr is rolling out a new reblog/notes system that completely disregards creators. In their new system, they're taking a twitter-style approach where reblogs will have their own notes that DO NOT contribute to the original post's notes.

Because of this, creators will no longer be able to see an accurate display of likes/reblogs/etc. This is completely altering the way feedback and responses to works are going to be received on this website.

If you come across a fan work that you enjoy, please take the extra step to go to OPs original post, and leave your comment/like/reblog there. Or go one step further and send an ask to OP directly to tell them what you liked!

I really hope Tumblr staff reverses course and reverts to the original reblog system for the sake of the large base of creators who use this site to share their works, but until then, please be considerate and make sure the creators here see/feel the love.
