So while we’re still in limbo waiting for this ship nonsense to end, let’s play the whose povs are we going to get game

IF I’m remembering right, the last CC had like at least six(?) povs?! So I could see a similar breakdown in these next 3 acotars

I’m thinking Mor is actually going to play a bigger role than SJM previously anticipated so I think she’s one of the 6ish povs. I’m also thinking Az (duh), Elaine, Lucien, and Gwyn just to keep literally everyone on their toes.

Then maybe Nesta or Feyre?

Truly insane to me that the other side is celebrating when it’s very clear to me that the colored hearts are for the book covers themselves while these ones 💖 are for the mates. And the music notes between them?! That’s a win for us 🤭

Now the real question is when the hell do we think we’re going to get the titles and synopsis 👀 that’s gotta be coming soon right? RIGHT?!

Since these “💙🩷” have been making the rounds and people think they scream some ship’s endgame, I thought I would talk about it. I apologize in advance for the size of this post; it seems to have decided that demureness was none of its business.

Sarah usually doesn’t use colored hearts as a spoilers for her endgame couples in her announcement. Also, pink for Elain and blue for Azriel isn’t more than the fandom assigning colors as a collective for certain characters and their adjacency to them. We’ve all done it, even I do it for quotes. But the fact is that it remains fan made.

If you look back on some of her cover announcements, the colored hearts are usually more in line with the book’s cover color. For instance, the Night Court Special Editions: black cover - 🖤

House of Flame and Shadow: orange (ish) cover - 🧡

And Steph (who’s currently with Sarah in Montana for her birthday) practically confirmed this “💙🩷” was about the cover’s color scheme/gradient. (She shut down that nonsense really quickly).

However, what I did find curious is that every time she announces a book, she uses some trio of emoji variation that almost ALWAYS includes this one “💖” or sparks “✨”. And when she does, in that trio, she also includes a little hint about the book’s content or title. Those little trios with the 💖are the true clues. Look at the otters, Hunt’s lightning and the crescent moon for CC:

Yesterday she used this one for Acotar 6 and 7:

“💖🎶💖”.

Now tell me that doesn’t scream “music” or “song” in the titles???

I think Gleeriel is indeed coming home.

So I’ll just leave this here. Is it a reach? Maybe. But I give you full permission to come in this post once the titles/couples are announced and mock me if I’m wrong.

@gwynrielweeksofficial Day Eight — Ribbons and Shadows

One of my favorite aspects of Gwyn and Azriel is how closely their individual aesthetics speak to one another—how in tune their overall aesthetic works in tandem with their story and within the realm of the books. Warriors. Carynthians. Valkyrie and Illyrian. Light and Shadow. Singers. Air and water. (Though, my personal favorite is the religious symbolism between them. Saint and Sinner.)

I find it interesting that Azriel was the character who assisted Gwyn in cutting the ribbon—ultimately becoming her new ribbon—and it is Gwyn that his shadows are curious about, that do not warn him about her, that sing with her, that do not hide/shy away from her light, and that she smiles at so warmly. It’s romantic and a steady foundation for the remainder of their story.

Happy early @gwynrielweeksofficial ! Just a little over a week until we get to celebrate our favorite Valkyrie and Illyrian duo!

There is something so profound about two loyal to a fault characters, who view themselves as something tainted and unworthy, finding acceptance and peace together. @lovelymoonflower1 and I are so excited to read their story, watch them fall in love, and hopefully see their mating bond snap. After all, they both deserve something as beautiful as that.

Cassian glanced over at Az, but his attention was fixed on the young priestess, admiration and quiet encouragement shining from his face.”

Az’s shadows danced around him. “Since there’s no chance in hell any of you will finish the course, we didn’t bother to get a prize.””

“Gwyn threw Azriel a withering stare as she strode past him. “See you tomorrow, Shadowsinger,” she tossed over a shoulder.

Az stared after her, brows high with amusement. When he turned back, Nesta grinned. “You have no idea what you just started,” she said. Az angled his head, hazel eyes narrowing as Gwyn reached the archway. ”

“There are plenty of other unspeakable things that could be happening to her,” Cassian said, voice thickening. “To Emerie and Gwyn.”

The shadows deepened around Azriel, his Siphons gleaming like cobalt fire. “You—we—trained them well, Cassian. Trust in that. It’s all we can do.””
