Thank you so much for responding! I swear that quote struck home because ever since I lost myself in my last relationship, it became hard to love myself again. So it's was a good reminder. And you're right, not being liked back doesn't make me less. I just can't help but to think about it over and over sometimes. But I am trying to remind myself that there's nothing wrong with me. I know we can't have everything we want but it just fucking hurts. But I can't thank you enough for the response.
Aw dear, maybe you can come off anon if you want to talk more? No worries I don’t bite. But if you don’t want to then it’s fine. It’s always hard going through break ups but it’s good to hear that you’re trying to overcome the negativities. I admire your positivity and I do hope that everything will turn out okay for you.
When will I get tired of drawing books?
Probably …
… never
Any advice for a girl who likes a guy who doesn't like her back? I badly need anything that would atleast bring my spirit up
Actually, it’s never ingrained in my system to give advice. But I am happy to give you a few words that hopefully will lift your spirits a little. I’m pretty sure you know that these kinds of things does happen. Not everyone will like us the way we like them. And I know unrequited love sucks. You might be asking yourself, “Why can’t he like me back? Is there a problem with me?” And it’s something that just pops into our heads. But not being reciprocated doesn’t make you any less. Not being liked back does not mean that there’s a problem with you or that you are unworthy of love. You can be the most talented, most intelligent and most beautiful person in the world but if he just sees you as a friend and nothing more then that’s nothing is left except for acceptance. Don’t feel discouraged, one day you’ll be able to love and be loved as well.
But do remember this:

There was so much hype with this book on twitter. It kept popping in my timeline and the photo of an excerpt from the book got me hook. Fortunately, I won a kindle copy in a giveaway. Keep reading for the book review and rating below. :)
Two words about this book: predictable and cliche. Three more words about this book: full of fluff.
Just Friends revolved around two childhood friends who became lovers. I was able to know just from reading the blurb that Ethan Knight and August Bishop were going to end up with each other. Yes, it was that predictable. Yet I still wanted to take a ride on the KnightShop ship’s journey to love. See what I did there? Anyways, the story was also full of fluff - boy meets girl; childhood to lovers- kind of fluff. Typical and the first 50 pages of the book was too sweet I think I got cavities.
Besides, the friendship of the leads was borderline couple-ish. It was evident from the first time they met that Ethan liked August. And in the long run, his feelings grew stronger. August, the rising actress, on the other hand, was in denial for a very long time. But a twist of faith made August realize that she indeed have romantic feelings for Ethan. BUT, **spoiler alert** when she realized it, Ethan was already in a relationship with August’s co-star, Eleanor. But rest assured, KnightShop ship sails.
Furthermore, there are some points where I got confused. **spoiler alert** For example, why would Ethan date another girl if he is so sure of his feelings? And also, why was the switch trick in the accident so vaguely explained? In addition, there was very little character development with the leads. I believe, Max (Ethan’s and August’s other friend) was the only one who actually had a character development. Honestly, I was a little bit disappointed with the story because the plot went on an unrealistic turn of rise to riches. Another concern for me is that the book had some error in its grammar and spelling but that isn’t a surprise since the book is self-published
Overall, it was an easy read and okay though it’s not on my recommended list. I give it 2 stars.
