Bado’s excuse for not turning the page was because his hands were in a strict “book holding only” position. And because he said that, Forte explained that her reason for not turning the page was because she was in a permanent “kiel holding only” position.
In the end they decided that Kiel would turn the pages during reading time. Except he’d always get over excited by the illustrations and would bask in their greatness for at least 10 minutes.
After a while Bado would try to avoid reading picture books..
