i loveeeee seattle street fair :3 happy solstice happy midsommar <3
i love reading sad books bc when your own grief is stopped up inside you like a clogged drain you can grieve for a character on a page and understand that you're also grieving for yourself a little bit
‘There is a theory that watching unbearable stories about other people lost in grief and rage is good for you—may cleanse you of your darkness. Do you want to go down to the pits of yourself all alone? Not much. What if an actor could do it for you? Isn’t that why they are called actors? They act for you. You sacrifice them to action. And this sacrifice is a mode of deepest intimacy of you with your own life. Within it you watch [yourself] act out the present or possible organization of your nature. You can be aware of your own awareness of this nature as you never are at the moment of experience. The actor, by reiterating you, sacrifices a moment of his own life in order to give you a story of yours.’
-Anne Carson, ‘Grief Lessons: Four Plays By Euripides’
Mood today~
You have life. You have music. You have nature. You have your lungs. You have your heartbeat. You have your smile. You have a roof over your head. You have people who love you. You have hard-earned wisdom. You have people you inspire. You have growth to be proud of. You have sunlight. You have the chance to try again. You have a beautiful future. You have time.

Instructions for visiting earth:
In the event that you wake up and find your soul separated from source and manifest into material form, dont panic.
Your condition is only temporary.
You have been selected for the opportunity of human incarnation.
This 3D simulation is designed to break up the monotony of eternity by giving you a fully immersive experience as a distinct ego identity.
Your body will serve as your physical avatar as you navigate a dense and dramatic reality.
There will be many distractions causing you to forget your true nature and origin.
You will experience a range of emations from joy to loneliness to despair.
But remember -no matter what trials and traumas you encounter, Your soul remains perfectly safe.
At times you may feel lost or afraid.
This is totally normal.
If you ever need guidance, simply slow down your busy mind and bring your awareress to the quiet place inside yourself.
On this planet, nothing is permanent.
People and things will come and go.
You will fall in love and form sentimental attachments only to lose everything you hold dear.
So cling to nothing too tightly, even yourself, and when it's time to let go, let go with grace, for nothing is owned, only borrowed.
As you walk among the people on the planet try to be a good guest.
Tread lightly. Remember that you are only visiting.
Don't make a mess.
Listen more than you speak.
Give more than you take.
Don't keep your soft heart locked inside a glass cage, protected from wear and tear.
You'll never make it out alive and time passes quickly.
So come back with some battle scars and good stories to tell.

Consciousness: Part III Taysa Jorge
How can I be pretty like you? Please don’t give me a cryptic answer, I really need this :((
This is not the message we want to spread as painful as this may sound to you I’m sorry
Looks mean nothing on earth especially as a woman, don’t let life/men/internet convince you of this. To put it bluntly no matter how beautiful you are you will always be meat. I can only tell you how to fortify yourself in a world full of wolves. The most beautiful thing you can do on earth is be yourself. Authenticity gets you into heaven
This question breaks my heart as I can tell you’re going through it, but I see a lot of girls on here getting questions like this and their answers disturb me because they are kind of out of touch. Placing such value in your looks keeps you stuck as a cog in capitalist machine, endlessly chasing your own tail perpetuating a cycle designed to keep you feeling incomplete. Holistic healing is the best thing you can do. Govt has convinced us there’s a magic button (magic button=spending money) for all of our problems. Whether it’s spending money on clothes, plastic surgery, alcohol, etc
Nurture your soul. That’s my genuine advice
Shower
Floss daily
Drink water
Brush your hair
Take care of your body but most importantly your mind, stay authentic and stay calm. Do what makes you feel like you’re flying
Also I’m not sure if you’re talking about real life pretty or social media pretty, but it’s all demonic as all algorithms are controlled by pedophiles which trickles into society, it’s been an epidemic. You’re essentially exploiting yourself without even knowing it if you haven’t connected these dots (respectfully)
