You two might be the only ones who find me exciting but I'm more than okay with that. Speaking of the holidays, my family wasn't too pleased to hear that I didn't plan on going home for Christmas this year but I promised them that I wouldn't spend it alone. Now they're more curious than ever and I think sooner rather than later you're gonna have to finally meet them.

You had me at wine and bed. I'll bring that Nutcracker movie I was telling you about since I dug it out of storage.

I think you know pretty much everything about me, I'm not a very exciting person. I'm all for making new memories, especially with the two of you! You two mean the world to me.

Of course I'll be over but I'm staying in pajamas from now until the beginning of next year so be prepared for me to look like I just rolled out of bed. You really shouldn't have gone all out, I would have been fine with just spending time with you.

Oh, it's definitely something that's hard to explain. This place is something else. I've only been here a couple months, but I've already put in a transfer request at work. I so can't do this long term.

Strangely, I think this place helps give me inspiration for my work. It certainly helped me write my horror novel, that is. What do you do for work?

Haha, yeah, I don't really like the woods anyway. I like being inside! It's nice inside. And there's no legs! Except my legs, I mean. And other people's legs who are inside. And inside animals' legs. So I guess there are a lot of legs inside. Actually.

Don't think too much into it, you'll just drive yourself crazy. Instead just be grateful that all of the legs in your home are exactly where they need to be.

God, you're a brave soul for even reading billboards to begin with. That's so sweet, but it's just practice. I think creating art is way more impressive. To be fair, it's so weird when they update phones, it's like someone comes into your home and moves around all your furniture without warning you.

That's one of those things that gets easier the more you practice! But yes! You can find all kinds of cool tutorials online for visible mending online, and you never know what kind of situation it could be helpful in.

They just sort of catch my eye, you know? Sometimes the slogans are really creative, I have to give them that... and then it just kind of spirals into who thought of such a catchy slogan... how did they come up with it... what were the other pitches...? It's a whole thing. Right! And it's always the things that no one asked for - just fix the stuff we're asking you to fix.

I've come to learn that you can literally learn to do anything with the help of a few trusted YouTube videos. I don't think I'd be able to do half that things I can do without it.

There's no dragging people down if you want to be there and be included. That's what a team is for, to help you learn if you want to. But if you don't, that's totally fine too. I might have to put one together though because I do miss it.

My sister likes diamond painting. I bet that could be fun if you like the more creative side of things.

Okay, we'll play one round of whatever sport you choose and then we'll see how long it takes for you to banish me to the bench. On the other hand, I'm a very fair person so I think that I could make an excellent referee for your games.

I could definitely give that a try! I've seen people working on those before, it seems to take a lot of patience but I think I have the potential to be pretty good at it.

You don't have to give me the hard sell on the benefits of staying inside. An underrated position, if you ask me. What's your favorite cold weather snack?

I guess I've been doing it as a serious hobby for about a decade. My dad got me into it, so even as a kid I would be doing some woodworking stuff with him. Built a boat a few years back, that was definitely my biggest project to date. Smaller projects are a lot of fun too, though. Little figurines, side tables, frames. I like taking something from nature and creating something new with it.

I'm a big fan of hot chocolate, especially if it has marshmallows in it. I'm also known to eat my weight in warm muffins once the weather starts to get cold.

A whole boat... that's incredible! My brain can't comprehend how much time and effort that must have taken. I wish I was good at something like that but I guess it's never too late to start.

Most of those sound interesting. Or not You said you weren't Dancing not as much, that's a nightmare but uh, looks like that's worth looking into for you. Does it count as a hobby if you're trained for it? [user is slightly amused] So you're looking to succeed at your hobby. Thought it was about taking it easy. Been told sucking at things is part of life. You know that store... Everlasting Green? The owner knows a lot about gardening. Sure he wouldn't mind guiding you in that.

You're not a fan of dancing? I have to admit that at first I had two left feet but once I calmed down and really focused I realized that it came naturally to me. I think it counts as a hobby simply because it's therapeutic to me. [...] Some people, myself included, tend to get discouraged if we're not good at something the first few times we try. It's a habit I'm trying desperately to break. You think so? Who knows, maybe this time next year I'll have a whole garden because I learned so much.

It's typical for the companies that put on the show to call in an esteemed ballerina to play the sugarplum fairy which is always amazing to see. I know, I know. I'm going to work extra hard in the new year to not overwork myself. Sometimes it's just so easy because I do truly love what I do so it's hard to step away from it sometimes.

The Nutcracker is a famous ballet that I obsess over every year. A girl is gifted a nutcracker on Christmas Eve who turns into a prince and takes her on an adventure. [...] Long story short there's a battle with some mice and their king, a sugarplum fairy, and a really cool Russian dance. There's plenty of movies based off of it but my personal favorite is the Barbie Nutcracker movie. It was one of my favorites when I was a child and nothing's been able to top it.
