Hermione gave a small smile at his words. “With great power comes great responsibility…that is so powerful.” After a moment of staring she nodded her head. “I would love some help trying to find it.” Hermione reached out her hand. “I’m Hermione…and thank you for understanding and not being totally weird about this.” 

Peter smiled and let out a soft laugh, “He was always saying things like that, but that one kinda just stuck with me.” He quickly nodded excitedly, ready to have something to do, “Awesome! If you just kinda showed up, the first place we should check is probably your apartment.” Peter took her hand, shaking it, “I’m Peter. Peter Parker and are you kidding me? This is so cool, there is no way I could be weird about it.”

She shook his hand back before stepping back and pulling a neatly folded paper out of her pocket. “Well, if we need to check my apartment first, I may need some help getting to it.” She unfolded the paper and read a few lines on it. “It looks like I’m in apartment F5. Any clue where that may be?”

Hermione stared, a little confused. “I beg your pardon? What it The Craft? I was raised in the muggle world until I was 11 and I still have no clue what that movie is.”

Hermione let out a sad sigh before she could stop herself. “I don’t mean to offend you, Fleur, it really is great to see you here. I just really…miss…” Her voice trailed off before she could finish.

“Non, you do not offend,” Fleur offered a small smile. “I understand. I miss them all.”

Hermione reached into her pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper and unfolded it. “It looks like I’m in room...F5?”

She shook her head slightly, giving a small smile. “You didn’t scare me, I’m just a little flustered at the moment…and it can be quite fun, but it can also be dangerous.” Her brows furrowed together as she listened to him. “Yes..yes it might just be lost. Unfortunately I cannot make another one. You see, I got my wand when I was 11 years old and well…” she laughed a little. “This may sound ridiculous, but the wand picked me.”

Peter held in a laugh at her comment about it being dangerous as well as fun, he knew what that was like, “I-I think I get what you mean. My uncle once told me that with great power comes great responsibility and magic seems like a pretty great power.” He offered her an encouraging smile, “If it’s missing, I know the city pretty well so I’d be happy to help you look for it! A-and that doesn’t sound weird, I mean, it’s magic, right? Not science, it doesn’t have to make sense. That’s why it’s cool.”

“I wouldn’t even know where to look.” She shook her head. “I’m honestly not used to not knowing what to do in a situation.”

“I’ll be okay.” The redhead reassured the girl. “Have you checked in to your room? It might be there if you didn’t have it when you arrived here.”

“Fleur?” Hermione turned to face the familiar voice. “Oh thank goodness I’m not alone. I’ve managed to misplace my wand…” She shook her head and then her eyes brightened slightly. “Does that mean Bill is here too? What about Ron?” 

“Unfortunately, non,” Fleur shook her head. “I wish they were, though.”

“It’s okay, you wouldn’t be the first who didn’t believe me when I told them. But yes, accepting that anything is possible will be very helpful around here.” Letting a tiny chuckle of her own out at the girl’s words. “Did you lose it? We could look for it?”

Her face flushed a bit. “I-I’m a witch, actually.” Her hand automatically moved to her side where her satchel should be. “My satchel is gone…it didn’t come with me I guess. It has all my books in it…but more importantly it had my wand in it.” 

“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you, I just kinda overheard and was curious.” He quickly apologized, blushing slightly out of embarrassment, “Woah cool! What’s it like? Man, I wish I was like some magic wizard that would be so much fun.” Peter frowned, “Maybe it got lost? A lot of my stuff was like magically here when I got here, so maybe it’s lost somewhere in the city? Or, you could make a new wand, i-if that’s something you can do at least.”

Hermione’s eyes widened at the name. “Wait, I know about you. There is a story book I read as a child about you. Also…the disney movie?” She shook her head. “But wait, you aren’t real. You’re a fairy tale.”

“Yes, I am well aware of that.” Nodding at the girl’s words. “Though I believe the book has a different version than the Disney movie? Either way, I am clearly real or else I would not be here talking to you about it.”
