Believing in yourself and your abilities is a hell of a drug. Like actually yeah I *can* do that.
This applies to everything actually, and anyone who says you can't make something happen is lying.

I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
Really enjoying the scritches
The guiding principle of Western law is that law is made. A lot of people will hold up "But that's illegal!" like a shield, and that's all well and good until you hold it up against a lawmaker.
Law is changeable, and a shield is easily unmade.
I can't stand the "start hrt. It doesn't matter if [thing that sounds excruciatingly hard], it's worth it. [borderline shames reader for being afraid]" posts. How DARE you presume to understand the minutiae of someone elses life enough to say any of that. Yes, you will hit a target of people who do genuinely need to here what you are saying. You will also hit a target of people who are in actual danger of extreme violence who genuinely can't, and you are going to hurt them.
im obsessed
oh, of course. because he died for our sins.
some hyper famous artists like Van Gogh transcend overratedness and become underrated because they're so normalized. Like I'll look at a van Gogh and I'm like wait this really is amazing you guys don't get it
Shakespeare is like this
Every time I see a Van Gogh that’s not one of his better known pieces it absolutely blows me away
Have you seen this shit my liege? smh unreal
ok sorry to double reblog BUT I just looked him up and he does these fantastic videos where he breaks down HOW he actually mimics the other artists’ styles. Like for ed Sheeran, he explains how he brings his voice forward in the mouth, while Adam Levine sings in the back of the mouth, stuff like that. It’s SO COOL, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone actually break down how to do this sort of thing, as a skill, instead of just treating it like a neat trick they just happen to be good at. https://www.tiktok.com/@justinjmooremusic
Check him out he’s so cool

Happy pride month to the tiny cowboy and tiny Trojan man from Night at the Museum
This hands down the best comment in the notes, I will not be taking criticism.

the fact that a "memory leak" is a thing that can happen to your computer is yet more proof that 1. computers are for perverts, and 2. me keeping dozens of tabs open at all times is basically just edging for my pc.
