Howdy everynyan, I'm Aydan/Hen-Hen (or boothillguy/sea_sluggish if u wanna go by username)!! I'm a multifandom + oc artist who loves magical girls, marine biology, aliens, and horror games!!

I'm 18, I use they/he/vey/star, and I uhhhhhhh idk!!! I have a lot of ocs, many of which are for oc x canon purposes.

Favorite things under the cut! There's a lot of yapping lol.

My favorite colors are green and purple. Orange is also severely underrated!

My favorite games are Silent Hill (especially 3, 4 and Downpour), Umamusume, Lollipop Chainsaw, Red Dead Redemption (especially Undead Nightmare), Pokémon (gen 7 + 5 are my goats), Honkai: Star Rail, Blue Archive, Animal Crossing, Style Savvy, Haunting Ground, Project Diva, probably more bc I LOVE video games!!!

My favorite movies are Guardians of the Galaxy, A Fistful of Dollars/Dollars Trilogy, the Spiderverse films, and IT!

My favorite shows are Pretty Cure, Black☆Rock Shooter, Spongebob Squarepants, The Walking Dead, Chainsaw Man, Ever After High, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, One Piece, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe!!

My favorite music artists are Ashnikko, Nero's Day at Disneyland, Akira Yamaoka, Inabakumori, hachi/Kenshi Yonezu, Linkin Park, Nirvana, wowaka, Weezer, The Offspring, Rusha, Chevelle, and Phantom Siita!!

My favorite critters are sea slugs (shocker), binturongs, nautilids, horses, red river hogs, katydids, cicadas, cows, pukekos, iguanas, gila monsters, jellyfish, gibbons, anteaters, and more!!

Other things I love: Vocaloid/V Synths, Alice in Wonderland, marine biology (especially gastropods!!(can you tell i really like sea slugs)), vexilology, writing/poetry, cowboys, figure collecting, polar bear 2026, also more I'm probably forgetting lol.

My favorite vibes/aesthetics are scene/scenecore, frutiger aero (and adjacent aesthetics), whatever the ps2 had going on, whatever Alice in Wonderland has going on, western/cowboy, generic alien things, stars, liminal spaces, zombies (esp jiangshis), race queens, pirates, older tech n a lot more!!

more info on the green lady here. Her name is Versika n she's like the only medic these freaks have. These two are MARRIED and IN LOVE.

In most of my AUs yondu lives and they live happily ever after. they are generic old bickering couple (grumpy x sunshine to the max).

i mostly write about these two because yondu is stupid hard to draw. maybe expect more of them soon if i can figure out how to draw that old fart without it looking bad.

Finally done with Midnight Menagerie Pretty Cure's new refs. Now with their mascots and civilian outfits!! Yapping under the cut

So a couple things lol. The pink one's reference was made months ago, and the rest were made over the past week. so thats why hers is pretty different from the others. Can yall tell im preparing for ArtFight

The theme of this season is nighttime. In order they are Cure Reverie, Cure Repose, Cure Lucent, Cure Luna, and Cure Wilderness. Here is the Toyhouse folder with all of them in it, as well as more info on them cuz I don't feel like typing all of that out.

Tbh im not sure how i feel about the colors. I tried giving them all subcolors but i wasn't feeling it. I hope the designs are consistent enough to feel like a cohesive team. Maybe I'll redesign them again next year lol.

Anywho, I'll give them a story eventually. I was working on it then realized "wow this is like Star Twinkle but a smidgen gayer" and am now trying to redo it. Also, the mascots don't have names yet. I'm thinking naming them after nebulas. They've got numbers in they're names yk, like the bat nebula is NGC 6995, so something like Ro-kyu (a mix of roku and kyu) if that doesn't sound really really stupid. Or I'll just go with gemstones. I'll figure it out.

Hello again everynyan!! I've made a list of horses I want to turn into umas, and these are the first three I've done.

First we got Lemon Pop! Her name made me think of lemonade, which made me think of summer, which made me think of tennis for whatever reason, so that's why she looks like that. She's chill, but very confident. She wears those shoes she's got on almost everywhere, they're her lucky charm. She has multiple pairs lol.

Next is Chrysolite, who is one of El Condor Pasa's grandkids. I wanted to give a little reference to that, so her hair decorations are El's but different colors lol. I gave her an idol hanbok (i hope that's the correct term) cuz her last G1 win was the 2016 Korea Cup. I don't have much for her personality or quirks :p

Last is Tosho Freak. I gave her a clowny vibe cuz if your name is Tosho FREAK you're legally obligated to be silly (also those silks HOLY). Also IRL Sweep Tosho n her have the same dam, so they're sisters and thus the silly is hereditary. Also don't have much for her, she's just very silly and a bit of a prankster.

Meisho Beluga redesign ish and T.M. Precure!! Yapping under the cut

Quick thing for Beluga, I thought her og design looked a smidgen too much like Believe, so I tweaked it a bit + gave her a casual outfit.

On to T.M. Precure (Kyua)! Obviously, I had to give her a magical girl design. I took inspiration from Futari wa Precure and Fresh Precure mostly (her best racing years were 2005 n 2009 iirc).

She's a sort of generic magical girl protagonist type, yk kind n bubbly. She's a mix of Miyuki and Haruka if that makes sense.

When she races, she "transforms" into her magical alter ego, Pretty Runner. She does this by spraying her naturally brown hair with temporary hair dye lol.

She believes a great evil is holding her back from greatness, so she vows to destroy this big bad. Often goes on monologues about how friendship will beat it.

Of course, her and Beluga are best friends and roommates. Kyua often drags her into her magical girl shenanigans. "Beluga, you are destined to be a magical girl! But first, you must unlock that power!!" Type beat.

Anywho, these two are definitely not a little bit based on me n my bestie. totally nottt🤭

I haven't watched the show in a long time so i might be misremebering things. anywho

tbh at first she's a little irritating but then I realized oh wait she's just worried about her friends cuz who Knows what happens if you go against that fuckass book. I think too many people dislike her for no good reason.

Aside from that, I like her well enough. I really like her dragon games (is that what it was called) outfit and her Wonderland outfit.

In honor of Miku day (i'm posting a day late shhh) I've turned Miku into a Sea Slug Pretty Cure member!! She's not part of the canon team obvs (and shes not a sea slug) but I thought it would be cute!! Her name is Cure Resonate!! She's also somewhat based on Aldisa williamsi. Cheers!!

I discovered this horse recently, and I've become ridiculously obsessed with her. Meet uma-fied Meisho Beluga!! Yapping under the cut!

She is so so precious to me lol. I decided to give her a sort of generic track suit thingy just cuz I thought it would be cute. I tried giving her something more swimsuit-ish or cold weather-ish because Beluga but I didn't like what I had come up with. She does, however, wear a swimsuit top under her jacket. So after a race she can just take her jacket off and cool off quicker. Good for her!! There's also a couple beluga things ofc. I love her name so much.

I couldn't find anything on her personality (maybe I just didn't look enough idk), but she gave me a gentle and caring vibe. So I gave her a phanny pack filled with whatever you may need before or after a race. Need a tissue? Beluga's got it!! Want water? Beluga's got it!! Miss your childhood plushie you lost years ago? Beluga's got it (somehow)!! Seriously how does she fit all of that in there!!

Meisho Beluga you will Always be famous (to me).

She's rivals-ish with Buena Vista (they raced against each other five times irl). More like friendly rivals than heated yk. She's also roomates with T M Precure (i plan on making her an uma too, expect her soon :3c)

also does anyone know what happened during Tenno Sho Autumn 2011? She stopped and didn't finish and I can't figure out if it's a Gold Ship like situation or if she was hurt :( I don't mean to sound parasocial for a horse I'm just genuinely curious what happened.

Also I've purchased a plushie of her and I'm VERY excited to receive it :DDD
