The Bounty Hunter-closed RP w/booyakapizzaturtle
When was the last time Scully had any sleep? She had lost track, what with all these chaotic cases she has been given properly in a silver platter, there’s no telling how long she’s gone without it. Even more difficult, now that her trusted partner is–well, gone. Not that he was dead, good lord, that was the last thing Scully ever wanted to think; in her perspective, he is currently “lost”. Captured, or hidden away like all of the top secret files the government dares to seal away from the public, including the FBI. She just wished she had answers, more information to his disappearance in order to go and find him–was this how Mulder felt like when she had disappeared before?
The female agent grabbed her things together, and called it a night as she walked out of the federal building, and walked across the street to where the parking area was at. The night was cold and quiet–a little too quiet for that matter. Throughout the time, Scully felt a little uneasy, as if she had a little hunch that someone was watching her. As she was walking, the sound of footsteps lingered into her ears, as she turned her head around to notice a dark shadow of what seemed to be a grown man in a trench coat. He wasn’t stopping, but was walking towards her direction, which made Scully feel very uneasy.
“Can I help you?” she then asked, her tone calm and concerned, watching the man walk closer, yet only to then widen her eyes in complete fear as the man then walked underneath a street lamp. That face–those eyes–she recognized this man, and the type of man she dared not want to see ever again. No–this was no man–this bounty hunter was never a man to begin with. His face showed no emotions whatsoever, but determination to come near Scully. To hurt her like how he had hurt her and her partner before. Scully acted quickly, knowing well on not to take out her gun to shoot the man; one bullet could lead to opening up his body, causing his toxic blood to be extremely fatal to humans and possibly any other organism within contact. Leaving the gun where it stood, Scully turned around and ran as fast as she could; the bounty hunter took the chance, and ran off behind her.
God how she felt useless right now, even without Mulder around. Why was the bounty hunter still alive?? The thought of those previous clones came to mind; somehow, they were similar to the alien species that had the ability to shape-shift into anyone…could they have killed the wrong person, and instead, a clone? The species were known to look exactly the same–this could be another bounty hunter that took the form of the original. Scully couldn’t think straight at this point; she just needed to lose this alien, and fast!
