;; ok so this is delicious, cause Ayleen's power majorly interfered with her ability to be intimate when she first returned to earth. she couldn't even handle being in a crowded room in fear of accidentally touching and zapping someone, much less smooch and do the tango. she had always been a sensual person before her space trauma, incredibly touchy and affectionate.

Whilst she figured out her power she felt that gnawing ache to be loved at night and had to ignore it. A younger Ayleen was able to have casual flings, but now, to trust someone so deeply- and in turn know they trust her to not fry their nervous system entangles her heart and feelings are caught. As time goes on though, she relaxes and so does her restraint on taking lovers, not falling for them as often, but it takes a few years for that to happen.
