Seriously I can't stress enough that the attention you get is based on marketing psychology, not solely personal achievement.

my blood, sweat, tears, and years of effort and growth— have never come even close to beating out the notes on a shitpost I drew a decade ago. and thats because comedy has a much more generalized appeal. thats it!

Whatever you create, it's worth something. Please learn this, and don't forget this.

(and also, holding a knife to your audience will make your work a lot less approachable)
