Once I turned forty with no kids, I decided to have at least a blog. Yup, I am old, so an old school one. No pictures. Just a plain text. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." You remember? Good bits, bad bits.

I had a booster shot yesterday. All good. Went to a vaccination center and prayed for a pretty nurse... Got a fella similar to my age instead. Well, that’s how it works. And paid for a second winter vacation! Because I’ve been working on quite demanding commission for last few days, I fell asleep this afternoon. I don’t like it because it’s 1:59am now and I am still awake. In the morning me and my gf go to a vet. She’s gonna have to say goodbye to her dog. I am really sad to see how devastated she is. This is the one of life moments when I am not sure how to act and what to do. Despite all the support effort, I am helpless. May the force be with us. And mainly her.

Skiing 21/22 #1 - Thank you anti-waxxers.

December the 19th we went skiing for four days. A terrible car crash delayed us and we got there nearly two hours later. Anyway, I never thought I would experience that. Accommodation right by the ski slope! No need to drive a car each day! Literary from bed right to ski boots. Totally empty slopes, chair lifts, cable cars and restaurants. No one anywhere. A few days before the Christmas eve mean it’s usually much less crowded. You just have to have everything ready at home. Decorated tree, presents packed and so on. Covid and anti-waxxers made it even better place! Imagine you have to think twice whether to go down when you can see nobody in front of you. Is the lift down there open? Will I be able to get back again? It was fantastic! The better the skiing time, the worse the journey home was. Freezing rain all the time. We stopped at the gas station once and I was barely able to get in how slippery it was. F#ck. Anyway, got home safe. Slowly but safe. Now to survive Xmas time with all the family visits. Fingers crossed!

2022 plan

Okay. 2021 somehow sucked. I’d like to get back to my traditional yearly plan I used to have. This means at least three times skiing and three times beach ‘idleness’. Whatever above these six occasions is simply great. The more the better. And each month the cat shelter donation ofc. Sounds easy right? Let’s see Omicron. Fingers crossed. For everyone.
