One of those articles I re-read regularly:

This was a note I added to my Evernote "Life Thoughts" notebook on 22 Aug, 2008 (age 23):

So much of what the broad Christian church preaches is a simplification. But that doesn't mean that the truth itself or Jesus is also. 

I will seek out the truth be what it may. I will use my brain as well as my heart and soul to find the most real meaning of the christ 

For 5 years I forgot about the note, then sometime in 2013 I found it an updated it.

When I'm on the cusp of breaking through a bastard of a copywriting or design problem, I put on this album. It creates just the right blend of motivation and urgency that makes me want to figure it out (whatever "it" is) before the song reaches the peak and ends.

The Real Monsters are reborn! 

Upon getting so much attention for my previous designs, I wanted to redesign the monsters and develop the concept a little more. You’ll notice most of the monsters have subtle alterations and the descriptions have been changed to better reflect my original concepts.

Over the coming weeks I will release more (never seen before) monsters and will also release concept sketches and developmental work for each monster shown here- So stay tuned! (They may also be little animations…)

Disclaimer: The artwork is not at all intended to make light of these conditions but instead is intended to give these intangible mental illnesses some substance and make them appear more managable as physical entities.

So I go to leave my place and the power in the street fails. Complete blackout. My garage becomes a zombie movie complete with flickering generator powered lights and beeping security latches. Garage door is locked. Then I hear a growl...

Wish I saw the whole picture before it was torn down. What's left of it looks very nice.

The sun between the city buildings was at just the right angle to refract off the glass edges on this bus shelter in order to create this rainbow. In one sense, all of existence thus far has been leading to this one, glorious moment, waiting to be captured and shared on Instagram and Tumblr... And now that that's done, well bring on the end times.
