@bornofenthusiasm
A must-read. Very short.
Great info!
Oh boy. We bought a new house.
You know that Google Chrome ad that imagined parenthood as a series of beautiful, meaningful moments all set to a swelling piano-and-violin composition that made you cry and cry and press replay and cry some more? Its a lie. This commercial for Coke Life is the truth. It begins with...
Ho Ho Ho.
Happy Friday the 13th
An Open Letter to Parents
Please never let your children think that their love isn’t enough of a reason for you to get out of bed every morning.
Please don’t let them believe that their existence doesn’t give your life any meaning.
Please get help if you need it. Not just for yourself, but for your children too.
So true.
So fashionable.
This is the house that sits directly across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church. A group of activists bought it and, yesterday, they painted it as you see above. They are turning it into a gay rights center and calling it “The Equality House.”
Well done.
Beep! Beep!
Mama and Papa's little cupid!
Happy Valentine's Day from Harriet and her mama.
I really hope Harriet is a chunky baby so that she can wear this swimsuit from here this summer!
Where have you been?
So after traveling for a good week throughout the end of the year, plus contracting both the norovirus and horrible head colds, our entire family is back to about 75% healthy and 100% back at home.
Someone had an excellent holiday season with plenty of hugs and kisses (and thus....disease!) from her aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas and cousins.
In news for the new year, I finally got back into working out (OMGmylegshurtsofreakingbad) and we are working on decorating the house. Of course, Harriet's room is done, but the rest of the house is suffering greatly.
Well here is somewhere I haven't been lately. Harriet had her 4 month check-up, albeit a little bit late. Someone's head is greater than the 95th percentile, while the rest of her is on the small side of average. Nice! Big brains!
On trying to find a light in a time of darkess
Little can be said to express the deep sadness and heaviness I feel in my heart for the victims (as well as their families and friends) of Friday's devastating events. So instead I leave you with this.
