Music is the Elixir of Life turned 3 today! love the way you rock! So many amazing and enlightening posts.
First thing in the morning
What happens to you when you wake up with a particular song ringing inside your head? I listen to it at least twice before starting my day... Makes me feel charged up
Musically Inclined
You know you listen to music not just for passing time but as a passion when you can identify songs, irrespective of which parts are played. Today that song was ‘Tanhayi’ by Jal
Do you like to listen to songs that start slow, then gather tempo and become fast? Or do you like songs that are the same tempo throughout?

Actress par excellence
Few actresses stand out for their exemplary work like Tabu. Over the years, she has delivered many memorable roles in Bollywood. Waiting to see her latest ‘A Suitable Boy’. Till there, here is one of her memorable songs:

Now that’s interesting!
Here's a tribute to the master music composer Wajid Ali, of the Sajid Wajid duo. He passed away recently at the age of 42 years. So cruel of God to have taken away such talented people away this year.

Defining Musical Orgasm
The Urban Dictionary defines "Musical Orgasm" as an experience in which music moves you to such a level of consciousness which is highlighted by immortality, sublime understanding and ecstasy. These feelings can be experienced in several situations:
1. While watching a live concert/being a part of a love concert
2. While hearing a particular solo/mesmerizing voice
3. Spectacular skills on any particular instrument Let me give you some examples to explain this phenomenon more clearly:
1. Aces High- Iron Maiden- Live in Bandra Kurla Complex- Crazy Indian fans watching an international rock band- it doesn't get much wilder than this. The degree of emotions on every fan's face are enough to give a musical orgasm.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COvCPJGjaiE 2. Bon Jovi- Always- Live in Wembley Stadium- 1995- Arguably the most epic concert by Bon Jovi of all time. Not only is the number of fans massive, but you also see many of them crying during the song. This is largely due to Jon Bon Jovi's superior handling of high and low vocals, along with Richie Sambora's guitar playing (longer than the regular song). 3. Dire Straits- Sultans of Swing- Alchemy Live- The combination of Mark Knopfler and Terry Williams is the stuff that dreams are made of. If you haven't watched them playing together, you have truly missed out on some sheer musical brilliance.
4. Junoon- Dosti- Live- The feelings of friendship are evoked by this song to a great extent, with some great rock in the background. Salman Ahmad's guitaring and Ali Azmat's vocals truly make you ready for a musical orgasm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12rHzDhpfFs 5. KK- Yaaron- There is no denying that this song has amazing memories for almost every middle aged person in India today. Though the lyrics of this song are truly meaningful, it is also the beauty with which KK has sung this song which make it special, and bring tears to the eyes.
6. Man in the Mirror- Michal Jackson- During the course of his musical journey Michael has written many memorable songs, but none more than "Man in the Mirror". It talks about the fundamental rule of looking at yourself first before trying to change everything else in the world. The power of this song is enough to move a mountain, quite literally.

So what does musical orgasm do? Can't really tell about others, but it certainly brings tears to my eyes. The tears are not due to the lyrics in most cases, but due to the phenomenal skills being expressed by musicians, singers included. Additionally, they also might be due to the memories associated with a song.
The ultimate combination. Singer and Guitarist par excellence. Thank you for all the lovely memories. You’re part of my next blog, guys.
