People ask what grief feels like. I never know what to say. How do you explain missing a laugh? A voice that still answers inside your head? A hand your own still reaches for without thinking? The strange comfort of a scent that never really left? How do you explain wanting one more goodbye, knowing it would break you all over again? I'd do it again. Knowing what it would cost me, I'd still choose you. Every time.
