Thoughts

Effective enough, though I don’t foresee me gathering this material ever again. Produces a calming effect that was able to tamper anxiety in patients, however my particular clientele requires more time alteration, which TD25:1 does not provide.

All in all, good for calming, but effects are too subtle for my uses. TD25:1 a dead root.

Experiment A: Sap- “Strawberry Coughy Cake”

Already I find my preference towards sap winning in the “Best Extraction Type” category. The sap itself was very melty, and easy to move. I tried thrice to seperate the sap into 2 piles, but the consistency was such and the container so small that it kept ignoring my division and melting back to one. Other botanists recommend keeping sap from this particular plant iced, so I’ve placed it in my ice box. My only concern is scent; I worry the other Forest Rangers will detect it’s odor. I suppose the only way to find out is through observation, hm?

Upon further discussion, we’re changing our strategy. Currently, as the location is shifting ground: forcing the body to live without a chemical barrier would be unwise, particularly when our Prosecutors are harder to distract without my experiments.

However, I’m still calculating the exact amount of material needing to be gathered weekly. I must work closer with our Money Managers to ensure I don’t go overboard, but I must also be diligent to collect enough for a proper distraction.

This leads me to this week’s trial — or rather, this next bi-weeks trial. I’ve gathered two tinctures and one plants worth of sap. My current goal is to make this collection last until the 27th.

I plan to do this by dividing the sap in two. One tincture per week (obviously.)

Eventually, I would like to have a Reset day for the body; for multiple reasons. First is most obviously dependency- but currently the prize outweighs the cost. Secondarily, without a proper reset / breaks, the effectiveness of my botany will lessen as the patient’s tolerance builds. I hope to combat this by using different methods of both extraction and application.

But back to this week’s experiment: 2 tinctures 1 sap = 2 Weeks. Since this is the first experiment I’d taken proper notes on, I will call this Experiment A (despite this not being the actual first experiment with this botany.)

I’ve got an action plan down. Now, I’m currently waiting for my resources to run out. There are certain others who would be very upset about this decision, but I believe it’s the only way to have a proper “reset” day so my research can continue accurately. I predict my flower and tincture will be gone tonight, which leaves tomorrow as our Reset day. To make the breaking of this day more difficult, I will enlist the Money Managers to not allow any cent to be spent today or tomorrow. On Wednesday I will gather materials for 2 tinctures and 1 pollen pack, but ONLY on Wednesday and no sooner.
