He looked to his side, and a little bit behind him, but didn’t see anyone. He turned to his other side and, upon seeing a bot standing close to him, almost jumped out of his plating. “Primus, you scared me…” he said, placing a hand over his spark.

He looked to his side, and a little bit behind him, but didn’t see anyone. He turned to his other side and, upon seeing a bot standing close to him, almost jumped out of his plating. “Primus, you scared me…” he said, placing a hand over his spark.
“I get that. Took me a while to get used to being in an actual hab with people who cared about me. It’s… It’s always strange at first.”
“Yeah…” He said, his voice trailing off a little bit. “That’s like when I joined the Autobots. For the first time, I was around people who acted like they valued me. Those five years of medic training were…really good to me.”
“I’m happy that you’re able to be around good people though. That’s the one thing I strive to do. As long as there’s happiness, then life is bearable.”
He gave a sigh and crossed his arms. “I don’t think I know what it’s like to be actually happy. I came close once, I think, but beyond that…the past always casts a shadow over everything.”
Kizzy nodded, “I. . . I get that. That’s what was going on with me. I did manage to find a way to help with that. Try keeping a journal of what happened and around when it happened. Show yourself how long ago it was and remind yourself that it was the past. That’s how I managed to cope.”

“It’s fine, you just scared me is all.” He gave a small smile. “Not doing much really, a bit of paperwork since there’s no patients at the moment.”
“Just wondering why you never head into the storage room? I just find it kind of strange. Typically Andro and Spark are in there a ton.” He pulled over a stool and sat next to him.
He simply shrugged. “I usually just don’t have a reason to. That’s all.”
“You can come in whenever you feel like. It gets kinda lonely in there.”
“Are you sure I wouldn’t get in trouble for slacking off or anything?” He asked, a slight frown on his face. “The last thing I want is to get in trouble.”
“You wouldn’t get in trouble. Andromeda has no intention of firing someone unless absolutely necessary.”
“Ah. Well…good. I’ll keep that in mind,” he said with a chuckle. “I’ve been trying my hardest to stay busy, but I suppose that comes from having worked under Pharma…” He gave a slight shudder as he remembered what that was like. “Glad that’s over.”
“If anything, I’d think we’d want you to work less than a burnout. Anyway, part of working here is socializing with others you work with. I’m always open for it and I think Spark’s been taking his meds, so he’s been feeling better. So either one of us are open for conversation.”
