MY CUTE LITTLE BABIES
Sorry I haven't posted for a while! I loved the new Steven Universe episode ;v;
Potion Keepers, who commonly resemble the munchkin cat or the dachshund in build, are an intelligent and enthusiastic breed of dragon who are able to adapt to new surroundings as they age. Despite their name, they may specialise in a variety of medicines and enchantments, not just potions. At a young age, the dragons may choose specialise in a specific potion or medicine that they feel drawn to. The more complex potions however, are usually reserved for the most talented, or those who are higher up in the social hierarchy of the Keeper clans. Potion keepers begin life almost always albino, however due to their strong adaptability, they begin to obtain colours and traits of raw materials that they spend most of their life around; most commonly (and interestingly) the ingredients that go into their potions and medicines. Unlike most of their dragon counterparts, they do not require wings, but instead have the basic ability to scale walls. They do have contact with humans, trading potions and materials for bottles, food and knowledge. Some Potion Keepers go on to become apprentices to wizards and witches, and others may just become companions, but they are always faithful and eager to serve their masters, especially the younger more impressionable dragons, much like overgrown puppies. More often than not they display their speciality around their necks, as a symbol of their talents. If the Potion Keeper is with a human, the ribbon or collar can usually be quickly removed if, for example the human needed a healing potion or antidote in battle.

Sweet Tea, why are you so happy? Especially since you have no reason to be. The other ponies tell the little grinning filly.
But is that really a reason to be sad? Do the trees fade and fall when they realise they are rooted to the ground?
She says with a sweet smile.
Or do they understand the world would not be the same without them, and grow ever taller?
