(반찬 Banchan) Korean Side dishes.
Haeundae!
About 2 months ago I bought a kitten. He's a boy and his name is Pixel. He's a mix of a scottish fold and something else (perhaps a Korean street cat), and he's awesome. Yesterday we took him to the beach for the first time and he loved it, running around digging in the sand, and getting so much attention from other people. In Korea there's no social qualms about walking up and petting a stranger's dog or cat (although I've never seen another person take a cat for a walk outside haha)
도토리묵 (Dotori Mook) This korean dish is a kind of jelly made from acorns. I've had it as a side-dish (반찬 banchan) many times before, but I've never seen it served with a big delicious salad like it was here, in a small drink store in Haeundae, Busan. It was incredible. The Jelly is cut into slices, a similar consistency to Tofu. The salad heaped on top had a dressing made of Soy Sauce (간장), Chilli Powder (고추가루) and sesame seed oil (참기름). I can't wait to go back and eat it again!
A couple in Seomyeon, Busan, South Korea.
오뎅이랑 떡볶이 (Odeng and Dokboki) Served the proper way, thick and spicy and dirt cheap! :D They're two classic Korean foods, but a little hard to explain. Odeng is like fish mashed up and squashed together to form a... fish sausage..(?) and Dokboki is like rice cakes squashed together to form a... rice sausage?
Haha, all I know is it tastes incredible and I love it!
The street vendors of Nampodong, Busan, South Korea.
Those aren't french fries. They're fried sticks of sweet potato! I love them.
Yelim at the temple.
Here is my debut track. I need to improve my mixing/mastering. But composition-wise I am very happy with it. My artist name is Pixel Tiger, and the track is called Harimau.
If you listen I love you... now back to photos of Korea :D

Hey Tumblr. It's been a little while. I've been frustrated with the Korean winter recently. Felt like every picture I've been taking had already been taken a hundred times over. Looking forward to spring and the cherry blossoms, hoping to get a new lens just for then, so I hope you all stay put! :D
Meanwhile I've been working on different projects. Mainly music. I'm not sure it's anything my Tumblr followers will be interested in, but I will post it regardless. I am a wannabe Electro-House producer, similar to the likes of Madeon, Daedmau5 and Skrillex. If any of you have soundcloud, please check out mine:
