from what i’ve observed i think one of the various reasons mlm ships have a hundred times as much content as wlw ships is because male characters are given so much more depth in their writing. like that sounds obvious but it also extends to their relationships. most of the time two girls in fiction have a static relationship with each other. while two boys will have a History and conflicting feelings etc etc. anyway its really disappointing like i just want more complexity when it comes to the writing of girls
