hi there!! no worries, friend! when i say headcanons, i mean-those posts that are-formatted-like-thissswith bulletpoints of me talking about a character and whatever the request….requests!they’re less formal but a lot quicker and easier to write. and i haven’t posted one of these here yet, but when i say scenario, it basically means a drabble. like, a mini-fic about whatever scene the asker has requested. i hope this clears stuff up! ♡

Y'ALL i’m working on getting more imagines out soon ((sorry for the hiatus!!)) and i have two questions!!! first of all, in imagines with an s/o, do you like the style i’ve been doing them ((referring to the s/o with pronouns, etc)) or would you prefer them in an “x reader style” where the s/o is referred to as you? and second, i’m gonna write a fic ((miphzel!!)) and i’m curious if any of you would rather read a fic set in actual BoTW hyrule, or a modern au of some kind??

hello!! no judgement here, friendo!! all the terms can get pretty confusing, haha. S/O stands for significant other!! so if people send in a request for a character with their s/o, i'll write an imagine where the character has an ambiguous, up to reader's interpretation romantic partner!!

So I'm thinking of doing a BOTW Imagines blog. . Any advise ;~;

Hmmm, well it’s different for each imagine blog, but 

 Figure Out Your Rules First. Figure out what you’re comfortable with writing or not, ex: age limit, nsfw, what characters you will/won’t write for, what themes you will write, how explicit you’ll get.

Know Your Limit!  Like how much you can write and what your request limit is. Figure out your time frame and how many you think you can get out. (I attempt to do two-three requests a day when I have the time/access to a computer, but please be sure you do what’s comfortable for you.)

Understand Requests are Requests. You might find yourself overwhelmed with how many you get and some requests might not fit your image or be easy to write. Understand that it’s okay to ignore some requests since it will be your blog. Don’t feel bad if there is some you don’t like/agree with and you don’t want to do it. Don’t force yourself, it can show in your work. Some can be a challenge which will be good for you though! 

Take Your Time. Don’t rush and if you feel blockage take a good long break. Do not overwork yourself.

HAVE FUN.This is much for your enjoyment as it is for others, so remember to have fun with it. Write your own stuff as well! Express yourself to your fullest! These are basically at the top of my head. Honestly, when you start out, you won’t know exactly what you’ll be comfortable with or not. It’s a learning curve as you go, just be kind, courteous and respectful. Let your followers know you appreciate their support as well. :) Also hit me up when you open shop, I’ll be an instant follow!

Can I have some headcanons for Link/Riju? *Blue Anon

-Chief Riju, head over heals for Link and grasping at straws for a way to make this oblivious and adorable Hylian notice it, resorts to attending miss Ashai’s relationship class ((by which i mean she sends Buliara, who begrudgingly becomes the best wingwoman ever and relays the info to Riju lol))

-Buliara at some point approaches Link and just very aggressively talks up the Chief. he’s confused //and a lil scared// but is just nodding and agreeing with every compliment to Riju.

-once they get together, they are such a Power Couple it’s ridiculous ((plus after a while, they reveal their relationship to the town and everyone is super supportive of their Chief dating what they still think is a lovely Vai it’s super cute)), but when they’re alone they can just really be vulnerable and act like the scared, dorky kids they are. it’s such a relief for them to be able to talk about how much they were thrust into positions of power, and how exhausting it is.

-Urbosa and her s/o are on a relaxing stroll together at sunset, around Kara Kara Bazzar, for their first date as an official couple~ they’re both a little giddy, and Urbosa has an arm affectionately draped across her s/o’s shoulders.

-while Urbosa happily starts to go off on a tangent about training young Gerudo, her s/o’s mind starts to wander and they think, “o heyyy my gf is always the 1 hugging me, i shuld make a gestuure!!1!1!!!!” so they go to wrap an arm around Urbosa’s waist ((Hylia knows they can’t reach her shoulders lol))

-s/o’s hand touches her muscular, exposed side, snuggling closer to their tall girlfriend. anD URBOSA Y E L P S AND NEARLY COLLAPSES IN ON HERSELF

-Urbosa is doubled over, desperately trying to regain composure, and s/o is SO STARTLED AND CONFUSED??

-”WH– ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU INJURED???”

“*wheeze* no!! no, y-you needn’t worry yourself.”

“WAS THERE A… A SNAKE??? AN AMBUSH???”

“no no no Dear it’s fine”

“I’VE NEVER HEARD YOU MAKE THAT SOUND WHAT HAPPENED”

-Urbosa insists that it’s nothing, calls her s/o “darling” and “dear” in an attempt to calm them down, and keeps a hand defensively on her side. and then it clicks.

-this is a revelation for the s/o– Urbosa, the flawless, strong, composed, gorgeous warrior,

-ok they clearly have to tickle her, but they don’t start the battle right then and there, oh no, they know Urbosa too well for that. her guard is up now. so they wait,,,

-they finish up their date nicely, and get a good night’s rest. then the next night the couple is laying on a blanket in Vah Rutah’s interior, chilling, and the s/o knows it’s the perfect moment to strike,,,,

-s/o rolls onto their side to face Urbosa, smiles, and calmly asks if she’s ticklish. realization dawns in Urbosa’s eyes, but her expression doesn’t falter. she raises an eyebrow. “why do you ask?”

her s/o’s hand darts out and Urbosa BOLTS

-she jumps up and s/o is laughing, chasing her around the Divine Beast. she get’s caught several times and is dragged to hearty laughter along with her hysterically giggling s/o. she retaliates and it becomes a full-on tickle-war, and Urbosa doesn’t feel the need to be responsible and smooth and composed. they’re just giggling kids being themselves!!

-who wins is up to your imagination, but honestly are there any losers when two dorks are so in love??

-please specify if you want an imagine/scenario, because if you don’t include in your ask that you want a scenario it’ll be headcanons!! no worries if you don’t specify, but i’d hate to give one of you the wrong type of post you wanted. ^^” -no flat-out nsfw requests, please! some kinda suggestive stuff is fine, but this is a relatively sfw blog, so don’t go too wild~ -for headcanons, the character limit is pretty flexible, but it should stay around 5-8 characters max?? i trust you guys to give reasonable requests, so it’s not too strict!! it’d just take too much time for one headcanon post to include hcs for like 10+ individual characters. -for scenarios/imagines, the character maximum ((also flexible)) is 5. just beware that if you request a scenario with a lot of characters, certain characters won’t be mentioned as much as others. -currently, i’m only writing for BoTW, since i am the ~worst & fakest fan~ who’s only played that one all the way through lolololol. once i finish more of the games, i’ll start taking requests for those too though, so don’t fret!! -the default s/o is gender-neutral and will be referred to using they/them pronouns, but if you want to request an s/o of a specific gender/pronouns i’d be happy to do that!! -if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to send them in and i'll add to this!

(mod makar here!!!!) this is a little self indulgent since i'm in the process of drafting a new botw fic and i've reached a writer's block orz so!!! what do u think/headcanons on things that make link, link! like what are things he does and doesn't know about himself? i.e. ambidextrous or allergic to cats?

-ambidextrous, indeed!! i think he just defaults to his right hand because that’s what he saw everyone doing/his dad said he should do, and didn’t really register that he can use both fine until someone points it out to him lol. after that he starts switching.

-not exactly fidget-y– his posture is great and he never does it when he’s focused, but when he Has Nothing To Do, he’ll just kinda mindlessly pick at something like the bark on a tree, or fiddle with his clothes.

-not a picky eater in the slightest, this boy will eat whatever’s in front of him happily, but he is allergic to peanuts. his face gets all puffy and he can’t properly do anything!!! so he hates it and will avoid peanuts whatever the cost.

-((like i said in the last two i think he really doesn’t like not having something to do?? whether it’s training or fighting or cooking or preparing or even just staring blankly into a fire, he needs to have a goal or he gets really uncomfortable. he’s so used to people expecting a Specific Task from him at every moment.))

-loves cats, likes just being next to them and scritching them, but probably not allergic to them imo. however, he L O V E S dogs and probably is very mildly allergic to them but he does not CARE he will sneeze and cry all he needs to if it means he can pet a dog.

-literally s o m a n y weird party trick things with his body, like turning his belly-button inside out and touching his thumb to his wrist in a horrific way. he loves showing them to people and will just silently and with a blank expression, do a weird thing with his shoulder blade and all his friends S C R E A M.

-i don’t know if cereal exists in hyrule but if it did he would pour the milk before the cereal i’m ((kinda)) sorry ((he’s such a passive and easygoing person but this is one of the things he is UNEXPLAINABLY STUBBORN ABOUT all of the other champions + Zelda try so hard to get him to stop and they c a n t))

-quite a few birthmarks and scars, even when they were little, and Mipha played connect-the-dots with them in an effort to cheer lil’ Link up. she was successful, even though Link only had a few from training back then so they probably only found a weird-looking fish and a triangle ((Link was happy about that because it’s the Triforce, Mipha it’s a sign!!)). Link is absolutely riddled with scars of all sorts now, so once he wakes up from the shrine of restoration and things quiet down, I bet he gets a quill or plays connect-the-dots again, alone this time.

he doesn’t like it as much.

Hi! May I request Sidon helping an s/o that's afraid of water? Zora's Domain is so pretty, but I sink like a rock! Thank you and I can't wait to see some of your writing in the future!

((eep, thanks so much for the warm welcome!!! <33 this is such a great first prompt, i hope you like what i came up with!! ~mod Mars))

-he’s a little taken aback at first– he doesn’t venture too far from the Domain often, so it hadn’t really occurred to him that someone might actually be afraid of swimming.

-but when his s/o explains their fear when it comes to water ((with the cutest, most sheepish look on their face!)), he wastes no time in kneeling down, looking them straight in the eye, and with the most dorkily-genuine expression, declaring that ~he will never allow harm to befall them here, as long as he’s alive~

-it’s adorably over-the-top, and he offers them a ride on his back, on the way to Zora’s Domain. it’s very secure ((Sidon is Stronk)), and while his s/o is perfectly capable of defending themself, the way Sidon speeds up whenever he spots a lizalfos passing above on a bridge is endearing, and the way they can just relax, partially touching the cool water without fear of sinking is nice.

-most of the time when they travel around, their s/o will just walk alongside the river, and Sidon will slowly swim alongside them, making conversation, because while the piggyback-rides are nice, it’s still a little unnerving when the water is deep,,

-after a few enthusiastic brainstorming sessions on how to make his s/o as comfortable as they can be in the Domain, the Prince lands on the idea to craft a “portable floatation device!” using octo-balloons, fabric, dye/paint and some other materials. the paint is totally unnecessary, and only there bc he had the Brilliant Idea of making the device look like a little stuffed animal of him! he tasks Ledo and some other Zora crafters with making it, and s/o ends up with this ridiculous floaty of Prince Sidon, complete with some giant arm floaties and a little outfit, perfectly tailored for them.

-his s/o looks SO ADORABLE in the whole getup, Sidon is literally melting. and surprisingly, it’s actually very effective and keeps them on the very surface of the water as they get to land, and the s/o secretly loves their portable mini-Sidon!! they only have to use them as a backup when the Prince is unable to accompany them in the water, but they don’t feel too bad when they have to. all-in-all, the pair spends most of their time sitting on a nice blanket somewhere on Ploymus Mountain, Sidon enjoying the rain and his s/o enjoying being on the same level as their cute shark bf without having to be in water. everyone wins!!!

hiya!! I'm mod Mars, and I made this blog because I, ofc, am utter trash for LoZ~!! I'll take headcanon requests for Botw, whether it's ships/friendships/interactions between canon characters, lore or x reader stuff, and hopefully I won't fail too horribly ((this is my first attempt at an imagines blog~ ;"D)) I'll also do some scenarios if y'all want, but they'll take a LOT longer aheh, so if you don't specify which one you want, it'll probably be a headcanon post. so!! send in some requests for these lovely characters~!
