I headcanon that Shanks can't do hair for shit. He's always had the same mop of hair, at best having it slicked back at times. Hence why little Uta would cry when he tried to do something as simple as pigtails or a braid. Beckman, who let's be honest has some of the finest hair in all the blues and grandline, is a pro and gets some special satisfaction in knowing Uta exclusively wants HIM to fix her hair. Might even pretend to take longer than normal just because she babbles about all sorts of gossip like the stereotypical women in books do. Except it's all kid stuff which makes 100x funnier and cuter. "You won't believe what Yasopp said. I heard him tell Lime that Snake ate the last cookie, but I saw Yasopp sneaking out of the kitchen last night covered in crumbs." Beck just nods and hums. "You don't say. Tell me more." (This got rambley but I don't care quite frankly. I love Dad Beckman too much... "Our daughter!")

THIS IS SO CUTE!!!! Beck as Uta’s co-parent is the cutest fucking thing to me. 😭 I love Shanks but that girl’s princess hair would be in KNOTS. Shanks also probably cut her bangs that way one time, trying to be helpful or something and she just decided to make it work for her (Beck had to clean them up though, it was far WORSE) 💕

Lip Service

Warnings: smut and voice play (aka sexy voices make reader go unf) and dom/sub relationship.

"Once this collar is on, you obey me. Every command, understand?" Chris said, holding up a leather collar with a silver ring on the front. It was an exercise in trust. You would trust Chris to not let you come to harm or harm you, but sometimes you had a hard time listening on instinct. Much like a cat when told not to do something, you had to do it the moment you were told 'no.'

So now, you were standing in front of Chris, naked, looking up at him.

"Yes Sir," you said with a nod. It was simple and easy, but that didn't mean your need to rebel wouldn't crop up.

"Good," he said. With a soft hum, he wrapped the collar around your throat to buckle it behind your neck. It fit snuggly without choking you, the smell of the leather wafted into your nostrils as the softness surprised you. What also surprised you was the relaxation that washed over you body as Chris' hands trailed over your skin after letting go of the collar.

The way that his fingertips dragged over the sensitive flesh of your chest in a tease of what he could do to you had you swallowing hard.

"There, now don't you look pretty," he said. You were caught off guard by how deep his voice had dropped, making you suck in a breath as he chuckled. "Now, be a good pet and kneel."

Licking your lips, you couldn't help but want to do whatever this man asked of you. The timbre of his voice made your bones vibrate and your sex get hot. He wasn't terribly loud either, but his tone left little room to argue. Kneeling, you looked up at him while biting your lip.

Fuck, how were you going to tell him 'no' for anything?

"Good job," he said with a hum, running his fingers through your hair as you leaned into the touch. "That's what I like to see. My pet being good and listening." You practically mewled as his fingers moved down your face to your chin, grasping it firmly. "Now, we are going to work on your listening skills. We're going to start by you following me to the couch where I'm going to watch my show while you warm me with that mouth of yours. Understand?"

You nodded silently, but that wasn't what he wanted. Tsk-ing, he shook his head as he pulled his hand away.

"I asked you a question. When I ask you something, I expect a verbal answer. Now, I didn't set that expectation at first, so I'll let this slide, but next time you'll be punished," he said, his fingers going back to your hair, gripping it tight to remind you that he was in complete control. "Understand?"

"Yes, Sir," you breathed.

"Good pet," he said with a smirk. "Looks like you're already getting the hang of it, but we still have the whole evening ahead of us and there's always room for improvement."

Bathing Headcanon

Quick showers are often Shirakumo’s jam. He doesn’t like taking too much time in the shower because it bores him. If he needs a quiet thinking session, then he will just hop on a cloud and stare up at the sky. Bathing does not have the same cathartic feeling for him. However, that’s not to say that he doesn’t get creative with bathtime when you are around. If he’s going to be wet and steamy for some time, then he may as well get you to join him. The only time his showering sessions are prolonged is when he has you all to himself, the ultimate bath toy for him to enjoy. He’s very touchy feely with you, but that’s always the case when you’re naked around him. Sometimes you can tame him by shampooing his hair. It feels like having wet, soapy fistfuls of fur from a samoyed.

Dancing Headcanon

Shirakumo dances for the meme. He knows all the popular dance moves and he is really good at publicly embarrassing anyone he’s with when his favorite songs come on. His good mood is often infectious, so even if people start teasing him for his dancing, they usually join in. Shirakumo is a master of making others feel at ease enough to express themselves as freely as they want. He is often the life of the party and at the center of the dance floor, especially when everyone is shitfaced drunk and egging him on to go wild. The frat boy energy is real with this dude. He will grind up all over you to nasty beats and it will get horny. The only time he feels nervous is when slow dancing is involved. Having you close to him in such a romantic, slow-paced environment makes him skittish. He wants to do this right and he wants to woo you properly. For once, he keeps his hands at a respectable position on your hips, and he’s got this dopey smile while he leads and looks deeply into your eyes. 

Singing Headcanon

Shirakumo has a decent voice! He sings loudly and joyfully, and even though he may be off-key sometimes, his performances are rousing and fun. He is not shy about karaoke at all. Yamada and Shirakumo are a deadly combination, especially if alcohol is involved. You ever heard a group of Slavic dudes playing guitar and singing around a campfire? That’s them.

When I first came out as trans, all my sisters were worried how their kids would take it. They told them when our news station talked about pride parades and apparently kids are the world's best alarm against misgendering, because anytime someone gets my name or pronouns wrong, they all practically scream the correct one - in that "Uh, duh. How could you not know this?" voice. Best perk of teen nephews and niece. Also, aunt is super chill and literally the best. Going on 70 and correcting haters

my family is a bit small so i'm going to be the only queer family member as soon as my nieces and nephew are are old enough to know what that means 😥 wish me luck!! hopefully i'll be "cool" to them
