ritsu sakuma
if i’m going to be fairly honest, your first kiss with ritsu isn’t going to be all that romantic. there’s no tension built-up nor a mood set. he realized he was late for knights’ practice session, and just straight up asked you for a kiss as a bribe to go do his work.
yes, you give him the kiss and there goes your sleepy kitten. it’s cute in it’s own way. ritsu’s clingy, but fairly easy-going; you’d probably be amiss to think the first kiss would go any other way.
in the case you’re a bit sad that your first kiss wasn’t special, ritsu will make an effort to make the next one all that the first one wasn’t to you. he’ll ask arashi endless questions on how to create the perfect romantic mood. she probably helps ritsu set up whatever it is he has planned!
to him, though you two’s first kiss was perfect. it was the embodiment of your relationship, after all: teasing, sleepy, but full of loving intent.
hiyori tomoe
hiyori is very affectionate, so in the off-chance he doesn’t kiss you the second you two start dating, it’ll be a mystery of when he finally does kiss you. this means that there’s a lot of tension and build up to when you two kiss.
he is also, very, very extra with his dates. you can tell when he decides to finally kiss you, because it’s the first time he brings you to a fancy restaurant. complete with low mood-lighting and red candles! it’s... very cheesy, to say the least.
when he finally kisses you, it practically feels like it’s a scene from a romance movie. it doesn’t last too long, but it lasts long enough to suspend your belief in reality. when he breaks the kiss, you’re reminded of why you started dating hiyori in the first place.
after the kiss, he probably hugs you and just gushes about you until you have to go. in the days to come, he’ll reminisce about this kiss for a while!
kanata shinkai
the only thing kanata wants for the first kiss, is for it to be somewhere near water. most likely an aquarium, since that’s both fun and fits the criteria!
kanata kisses you when the moment feels right. the blue reflection on your face makes him feel at home; he gently hugs you and looks into your eyes for a few seconds before kissing you. it’s short and sweet, but kanata keeps hugging you for a few minutes afterwards.
he doesn’t bring it up much, but it’s a memory he treasures fondly. being surrounded by aquatic life with someone he loves-- if you ever catch him with a spaced-out look and he’s not submerged in water, he’s most likely thinking about that kiss.
whenever you two are caught out in the rain together, kanata will kiss you. it reminds him of your first kiss!
kohaku oukawa
kohaku steals a first kiss in the most unlikely moment. whether it be you two waiting on a bus in the rain, or you’re just sitting together quietly, he’ll surprise you-- and probably himself. either way, he’s quite shy about it.
the kiss itself is a bit longer than it should’ve been, but enjoyable nonetheless. when he breaks it, he’s redder than a tomato. teasing him about it would make him even more unbelievably red in the face and a stuttering mess for minutes afterwards.
he wanted the kiss to make an otherwise unmemorable moment, memorable. he’ll ask you months later if you remember the first kiss you two shared-- if you describe it in detail, kohaku will be over the moon.
like ritsu, he doesn’t take it too seriously. there are many more moments for memorable kisses! the first kiss is just the beginning, after all.
