How? Let’s be real for a sec, yeah?

I didn’t grow up somewhere cute. Or safe. Or nice. I had a mom who counted bruises instead of birthdays. A dad who said the worst word he could think of was ‘f\@ggot.’ A brother who made sure I remembered it.

They hated every name I ever tried on until I made my own. They called me Serena when they needed to say ‘girl’ like a curse. They tried to snap it back into me every time I slipped — every time I wanted to wear something not for ‘Serena.’ Every time I loved someone they didn’t approve of. Every time I said ‘I’m not yours to name.’

So I made people see me instead. I talked to strangers online ‘cause strangers were kinder than my family ever was. I learned how to be so loud they couldn’t hush me up. I made them listen. I made them watch.

And every time someone reblogged, or liked, or commented ‘you’re perfect,’ it was like ripping another little piece of their name for me out of my skin. So I kept going. I built it into a crown — one they can’t tear off anymore. ‘Cause if the whole world sees me — if the whole world loves me — I can’t be locked in that house ever again.

So that’s how I did it. Abuse. Survival. Secrets. Sparkles. A crown I built outta garbage.

So basically, growing up, I was Serena. (That's my dead name BTDubs) And I knew Serena wasn't me, nor I was Serena. I also knew I wasn't male as well, I found out at around age 12-13 I was Non-Binary. 💛🤍💜🖤

Since you asked for family Anon, I won't dwell into my past just yet ✨

I don't know any extended family as of yet! But when I get out of this killing game with my friends I would love to find out!

I'm not close with anyone in my family due to being abused for being non-binary and not the perfect princess they wanted.

My found family is my friends! Mainly Kokichi and Kaito. But everyone with me trying to survive at Monokuma's killing game is my new family!

Kaede, Tenko, Angie, and Himiko and I all get along great! We can talk about anything!
