May the Gods hear you !
In my headcanon I imagine angst filled conversation in the Lord's chamber where Sansa shakes and tells Jon she's his family and his friend. "Aren't I?" She kind of trembles, and Jon replies "No, I'm not your friend." And Sansa shudders and tears start forming, but before she could let anything out in a shaky breath, Jon takes heated wide steps to her without saying a word, grabs the back of her head and kisses her like his life (2nd life? lol) depended on it. Someone make it happen 😭
Omg T_T
Can I just…
There is dried blood caked in his hair and mud and sweat coating his leather and furs. He is in dire need of a bath to wash the grime of battle from his skin and soothe his aching muscles, but he stands here anyway, watching her as she takes him in, rosy pink lips parted like a prayer.
“You’re home,” she whispers, timid and afraid, like mayhaps she is dreaming up his presence. It should not excite him so to imagine her dreaming of him, but he smiles and nods. “I didn’t think you would… I heard from… Bran says he saw you surrounded by the Others.”
“Aye,” Jon admits. He takes a tentative step forward. “I thought I’d die out there.”
Sansa shivers, wrapping her arms around herself protectively. “I dreamt of a wolf howling, white and as big as a mountain with eyes like liquid fire. I thought it was Ghost but when the moon caught it just right, its eyes turned lilac.”
Her implication is clear and Jon freezes, suddenly overcome with the desire to run and hide from her, from this truth he refuses to bear. It is Sansa now that walks towards him. He doesn’t look at her; he can’t quite bring himself to.
“It doesn’t matter to me,” she says softly. “You will always be my family. My friend.”
Jon’s eyes snap back to hers, studying her, watching her. He feels spiteful and he gives a soft snort. “Am I? Your family, that is. Is that who I am?” He exhales slowly. “No, Sansa, I’m not your friend.”
To watch her eyes fill with tears nearly breaks him right then and there, but Jon just closes the gap between them, cradling her face in his palms, as his lips immediately capture hers. He feels her gasp into his mouth, stilling for a second, before her fingers slide through his hair, tugging gently and causing every muscle in his body to constrict with want. Jon backs her up against the wall as he drops his hands down to her hips, desperate to feel her yet terrified to take this any further.
“I can’t just be your friend,” he murmurs once he pulls back. “I love you, Sansa. I’ve fought this for so long but I can’t anymore. I love you. I want to start a family with you. I want to grow old with you here in our home.”
Tears streak down her cheeks. She loosens her grip on his hair and traces the line of his jaw with one finger until she reaches his bottom lip. “Are you asking me to marry you, Jon Snow?”
“Aye,” he nods, smiling as he kisses her again, this time soft and quick.
“Do you not worry over what the other houses may think?” she asks, but there is now a wicked grin on her face that makes Jon’s heart swell.
“They have already disavowed me,” Jon says. “They do not care what I do anymore. And I doubt any of them are dumb enough to go against their beloved queen.”
Sansa rolls her eyes and tugs him back for another kiss. “You’ll be my king then.”
Sansa is giving Ghost tummy rubs and kisses and Jon (whether in a relationship with her or not) is sort of jealous.
this is the cutest prompt ever :O <3
“Who’s a good boy? Yes you are, yes you are such a good boy!”
Jon frowned. Sansa had been on travel for the past two weeks – and after dropping a perfunctory kiss to Jon’s cheek when she got home, dropped to her knees and embraced Ghost like she hadn’t seen him in years. Ghost, the greedy attention-seeking ham that he was, rolled right over in the hallway and proceeded to wiggle under Sansa’s enthusiastic scritches and rubs, tail wagging and tongue lolling. As if he was neglected! As if he needed any more validation that he was the best dog in all of Westeros!
All of that dramatic jealously slipped away, however, when Ghost tipped his head back and gave Jon a grin that said: THIS IS THE BEST. Jon grinned back.
“Ghost missed you,” he said. “Not as much as me, of course,” – he wasn’t going to let their dog get all the kudos – “but a very close second.”
Prompt: The Northerners watch as their King Jon Snow trains Lady Sansa for battle
They gathered at the barrier overlooking the training yard; Davos, Brienne, Podrick, and even Tormund. Podrick had first heard the ruckus when he was walking back from the servant’s quarter after trying and failing awkwardly to chat to a scullery maid there. He didn’t think anyone would be training so early in the morning with the air around Winterfell already bitingly cold at such an hour. But there they were, laughing and teasing one another as the King of the North attempted to train his Lady of Winterfell. Podrick immediately went to inform Brienne, who had been breaking fast with Ser Davos and Tormund.
The shock of it all hadn’t been watching their king train his lady sister, but the softness in both their eyes that was undeniable even from a distance. It was with too much fondness that Jon held onto Sansa’s elbows to gently guide her in the right stance; too much adoration when he laughed as she failed to parry back with her wooden sword; but for Podrick, the most shocking of all was how open Sansa was in the moment. He had only known her for a short time, but in that time, he knew her only to be as cold as winter itself. The lady guarded herself with the strength of a Valyrian steel. But with Jon, she was easy to smile and even easier to laugh.
“She looks happy,” Ser Davos commented, breaking the shocked silence between them all. “Being home has been good for her.”
“Being with him has been good for her,” Lady Brienne corrected. “She has been in Winterfell for some time with Ramsay, but it only started becoming home again when Jon and her claimed it together.”
Podrick concurred. The Sansa he had met in the woods was far from the woman he was seeing now before him.
“Yes, perhaps you are right, m’lady,” Ser Davos said. “And I dare say she is good for him. I have not seen him so happy in a very long time. He always wants to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. With her, he doesn’t have to.”
Tormund laughed, abrupt and loud. “Aye, too bad she’s his sister.”
“What?” All three of them nearly shouted, only managing to keep their voices down at the last second lest they disturb the two in the yard.
“I have seen Jon look at only one other like that,” he said, pointing to the man in question now, who was now standing a way’s back grinning proudly as Sansa executed a perfect offensive attack. Tormund turned his gaze to his companions, a wicked grin on his face. “A wildling lass. As fierce and stubborn as your lady.”
“Jon is her brother. He feels only…” But as Brienne continued to watch them, her sentence trailed off. Jon was now standing behind Sansa, his hands gently guiding her elbows and his mouth by her ear.
Tormund laughed. He waggled his brows at Brienne and finished her sentence, “with his little pecker.”
The Wildling man then walked away, leaving the three of them more than a little confused and startled. However, Podrick had to admit in the days since Jon and Sansa reunited, he’d noticed the two become drawn towards the other even from across the room, catching each other’s eyes, smiling secret smiles and exchanging unspoken words.
Maybe Tormund had a point – and for two people who had suffered so much, would it really be so bad?
“Were you two close as children?” Daenerys asked, once they had retreated from the noisy hall to the privacy of Sansa’s solar.
“Not particularly. I was obsessed with songs and sewing, while Jon was always in the yard training. We didn’t become close until recently,” Sansa said, and again realized too late that she’d let on too much.
“We of course had to work closely together to protect our people and our castle,” Jon corrected.
“Certainly,” Dany said, sipping her wine. “That and you’re lovers.”
Jon blushed hard while all of the color drained out of Sansa’s face. “I can’t imagine why your Grace would think that—” Sansa began.
“Missandei is so small, and so quiet, often people do not notice her. The sweet thing doesn’t mean it. I tell her she must announce herself. For example, she should announce herself in the godswood. Or in the library. Or the stables,” she said, with the slight raise of her eyebrows.
I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.
Bran: you were wearing a very nice dress the night Ramsey raped you
Sansa: ...
Arya: you were wearing a very nice dress the day you watched father get beheaded
Sansa: ... why was Jon my least favourite sibling when we were kids, I miss him
