hey everyone,

just a psa that if you want to take pics/screenshots of my posts and cross-post them on other platforms (even with my username showing), i would appreciate if you asked first!! while i appreciate my username not being cropped, etc., it’s odd to be generating content for other users and fanpages to post and use to engage with their followers without at least a heads-up… i had to stumble across my own Tumblr posts by accident tonight to find out this was occurring.

while i’m sure this was done with no ill intent, the internet is a vast place, and i deal with anxiety and depression daily. for my posts to leave its intended audience without my consent or knowledge makes me feel weird.

seeing a lot of negative comments about norandro and their development due to the newest noorhelm version, and it makes me sad. we shouldn’t discredit what nora g.’s season meant for many in spain, as well as globally. while eskam wasn’t perfect in how it approached other characters, like amira, one can argue that the show took the most care with nora, alejandro, and how they decided to approach their storyline.

on december 9th, there is a wisconsin all out for palestine rally in madison. i really encourage anyone who is in this state and has the means to travel to madison to show up for this especially as more people are showing "fatigue" for the palestinian cause and social media posts dwindle.

if you're in milwaukee, the local chapter of JVP is arranging transportation help if you dont have a car and the badger bus is also a relatively inexpensive and convenient option, it runs multiple times per day and will take you about 30 mins walking or a quick uber trip to the capital if you select the 'campus and lake' stop.

p.s. i know madison in general is pretty milquetoast + white liberal-y, but the activism and rallies for palestine specifically lately have been extremely well organized, meaningful, actually leftist and abolitionist, calling for more than a ceasefire, and led by/centered palestinian-americans & other SWANA organizers.

finally caught up on yesterday's clips, noah looked peeved about pablo and ada -- glad they're actually addressing s6 storylines in some regard, if it is late in the season to do so

Honestly, there’s like four episodes left, I think? So I hope there’s not a romance plotline between Finn and Anaïs, but I wouldn’t be mad at them dating in the future, to be honest. As I put it before, it could be an interesting contrast between Anaïs and Bobbie and Anaïs and Finn, or a future partner. I just don’t know if Bobbie can be redeemed as a character in this amount of time, and I don’t trust these writers to deal with these topics sensitively enough.

i had a feeling since the season description was released that anaïs and bobbie were probably going to be illustrated as a toxic or bad relationship in the end. for the entire season, the writers have shown that this is anaïs’ first romantic partner, and her first sexual experience. anaïs doesn’t know any different. i think it’s also important to note that earlier in the season, when the two first got together, bobbie was continually pushing anaïs to go public, and was even using finn to antagonize her and make her come out — i honestly think we glossed over that a bit too much. i think it just further reinforces bobbie’s disregard for others’ feelings and wellbeing, as long as she gets the outcome she desires. she put hanne in the hospital, and was still able to sleep soundly, she didn’t want anaïs to call ada, and to skip work and stay with her. the red flags are red flagging.

of course, bobbie is 16 years old, but her age shouldn’t shield her from the fact that she needs to take accountability for her actions and get help for her substance abuse, as well as therapy to learn more appropriate coping mechanisms & to talk about her family and her family structure.

i honestly hope anaïs and bobbie are apart at the end of the season, because i think it would be important for teenagers to see that it is okay not to be the fixer or the solution to someone’s needing help, and that it is important to encourage specialized, professional help and support that these kids aren’t equipped to handle. but do i have faith in these writers? 🤷🏼‍♀️

i hope this made sense, i literally just woke up.

(ps: if these writers also bring anaïs and finn together romantically, i think it could be an interesting contrast to her relationship with bobbie… similar to nora’s relationships with alejandro and jorge vs her relationship with miquel in skam españa s3.)

(pps: i am not an anobbie or bobbie anti, i honestly just think it’s better at this point if they work on themselves individually as people. they could always reconnect in future seasons! i am also a person who has lost my own father young, and seen how addictions can take a toll on people you’re close to, so i have a lot of sympathy for both bobbie and hanne!)

i’ve loved anobbie and been understanding of bobbie’s problems, but not only did she dragged anaïs to retrieve the weed just after her first time, but has now potentially caused hanne to be hospitalized. her issues run deeper for sure. she said she used weed to cope. clearly can’t go without it, to the point she could’ve potentially killed someone. and when anaïs tried to go back and help her friend, bobbie told her not to. to just leave her. yes, ada was there, but i can’t imagine the guilt anaïs must be feeling right now. how are they supposed to come back from that? it’s beyond what i could’ve imagined. you can’t repair this kind of damage in less than a month.

i do think bobbie cares about anaïs, because we’ve been shown that, but her family problems and weed addiction run too deep, to the point she puts weed over anaïs. i truly love them, but at this point, with things being like this, i want anaïs to put herself first. and i want bobbie to get help. and i don’t think they should end up together at the end of this season

So after their first time, Bobbie realized she left her bag at the coffeebar. Anaïs called Hanne, Hanne said she’d already closed up for the night. Because Bobbie really needed her bag (and I’m assuming her weed), she and Anaïs got dressed, went back to the coffeebar, and broke in by picking the lock.

Bobbie and Anaïs walked in, not realizing Ada and Hanne were actually in the cafe — they agreed to meet back at the shop & get ready together there before going to the party in the 19:00 clip, so I’m assuming they were literally finishing up and going to leave in a minute. Anaïs hid under a table; Bobbie hid behind a wall, and they both refused to come out when Hanne called out “hello” to them.

Bobbie then grabbed her bag, and pushed past Hanne roughly, which knocked her down and I’m assuming knocked her out by that last shot of her on the ground — Hanne was wearing a long dress and heels, which I’m sure isn’t great for dealing with a break in, and then losing your balance.

Bobbie pulls Anaïs out of the building, they run across the intersection. They pause and turn back to see the lights in the cafe turn on, and Ada standing over Hanne. Anaïs says they should go back and help, but Bobbie refuses and says Ada is there and an ambulance will come for Hanne. She then pulls Anaïs further down the street, and Anaïs goes with her willingly.

i think it’s also important to note that anais was not a passive member of what happened — she chose to enter the cafe after bobbie, she chose not to identify herself to hanne, she went with bobbie even after she refused to allow anaïs to check on hanne. she is also going to have to evaluate her own choices, because now, these actions really have consequences.

also, ada and hanne had really great Peaky Blinders costumes and now they’re going to be wasted at a hospital, damn.
