hii so im just gonna say this again since i think it's time to remind people:

if you ship jareth and sarah unfollow me, do not interact with my blog do not touch my posts do not even look in my direction. Jareth is 1300 years old and Sarah is 16. That is a predatory ship and any sexual encounters between them will ALWAYS be non consensual because Sarah is a minor who cannot legally give consent. The fact that jareth was even given sex appeal and made to be a somewhat sexualized rockstar in the movie is ENTIRELY the fault of the creators and directors of the film and endorses predatory behavior that was normalized during the time (ie rockstar groupies being popular). It does not matter if the characters are fictional because if you're out here trying to normalize predatory and pedophilic ships in fiction then GOD knows what you condone outside of it.

To clarify this is NOT in regards to jennifer and david, if you ship them thats 1) gross bc those are real people and 2) gross because jennifer was a minor when the movie was being made and david isnt a pedophile so why would you ship him with a child anyway?

I see some of you trying to justify cops tear-gassing children, running people over with their cars, shooting people in the head with rubber bullets at close range, pulling people's masks down and macing them, literally throwing women down, slashing people's tires and shattering their windshields as they're in their own vehicle, beating and killing elderly protesters, etc... They're doing it to these people, who are protesting the systematic racism and police brutality and demanding justice for George Floyd.... And I want you to know that if you think cops are right for doing this, ANY of this, then block me. If it bothers you that people are rioting and damaging stores ownes by giant corporations more than it does that cops are doing what they are to these protesters and are freely murdering black and brown people, block me. If you think it's right for the President to refer to white people loaded with guns bitching about haircuts as "good people" and black and brown protesters as "thugs" and allow the law enforcement/national guard to open fire on them, block me.
