Which Project Should I Focus on?
Owelia Everywhere (Yakuza M9/ Majima Owelia AU)
Cannibal Maddie (Hannibal Lecter Arcane AU)
Sith Lord Rising [Title WIP] ([Not] Owelia Star Wars AU)
(Bc I work 5 days a week and only have so much time and energy to work on any given thing. This doesn't mean I'm completely abandoning these characters, just that they won't be won't be what I work on the majority of the time. BTW, any one of you has my permission to pick up the mantle and draw/ write for any of the ones that don't win.)
Arguments for Owelia Everywhere:
Development of Owelia's backstory and relationships with the other Volstrucker. More exploration of her character.
An Owelia that's *less ooc than Fallout Owelia. [A true Owelia story in a true M9 AU].
A fun, more combative dynamic with Beau; Owelia Everywhere is basically Beau's Majima.
Flexibility in the kinds of comics and pictures. Small comics about a fight or Owelia trolling, bigger narrative stories.
Focus on other M9 characters, with AU designs.
Cool design, I like drawing her.
Arguments Against Owelia Everywhere:
I already have an Owelia AU, Fallout Owelia. I can still develop her character, and find a way for her to be more in line with her cannon character.
Owelia saturation, too many Owelias at the expense of everyone else.
Cool design, complicate to draw.
Arguments for Cannibal Maddie:
Genuinely one of my favorite backstories and characters to write for.
A new spin on a maligned character.
Exploration of new dynamics with all of the cast, with deep dives into the personalities of characters like Vi, Ambessa and Cait.
A really really fun character.
Arguments Against Cannibal Maddie:
More involved writing. I feel like almost everything written and drawn has to have a point. Will take longer to work on.
I already have a RP blog for her.
More fun to write for than draw.
My interest in drawing [not brainstorming or writing] her ebs and flows.
Arguments for Sith Lord Rising [title wip]:
I've always wanted to write a Star Wars story in my own original Star Wars Era.
Alows me to world build and design cool ships, weapons, factions, political dynamics, and characters.
Samurai Sith Mandolorians. Just, leaving that on the table too.
We have "Aurelia" as our MC, who looks suspiciously like a certain "Owelia", with a similar backstory.
Can put *any* character I like in as an expsy, Maddie, Primrose etc. Will also have a Beau stand in for the Jedi Rival.
More exploration of the Sith, in a Sith POV story.
Arguments Against Sith Lord Rising:
*Huge* project. Building from the ground up, essentially, too. Will take a *lot* of time.
World building too much could be detrimental to developing a story. On that subject-.
Currently only have the barest skeleton of a story. I have an idea of where I want Aurelia to be at by the end, but very few concrete details outside of her backstory.
Expsies might get too self indulgent.
