I just want it in record that the terminal mini games in New Vegas are the bane of my existence. I am not patient enough to get passed these goddamn terminals without mindlessly mashing and resetting.

Maybe if I took my time with them I'd enjoy these eldritch riddles more, but I have limited time these days, a desire to explore more than one fictional DOS screen, and simply don't enjoy them.

And as far as I can tell, no one has made a mod to cater to my specific needs, so I will continue to bitterly comply with the game's sick desire to give me the option to brute force my way through these optional mini games for meager XP gains.

Fallout Owelia: Van Graff v. Cassidy

I sometimes find myself having to choose between doing what my Courier's character *should* do, and what I want to do.

Like, yes, Owelia probably would be ok with sacrificing Cass, bc the hot lady in Freeside told her to. *And* the quest pisses of Eddie "Ceasar" Sallow, and that's just fun to do.

But also, I really like Cass as a character and companion, and always appreciate her running commentary throughout the game. Plus, she's the only one out my 3 favs that ends up sticking around, regardless of which ending I usually decide to go for.

There are a lot of situations where I break my own playthrough rules, but remaking yourself and beginning again are major themes in the game, so maybe it's not rule breaking after all.

(Notes: not terribly happy with this one, but given how my job is ramping up this week and my self imposed challenge to make one of these weekly by Wednesday, that's just something I'll have to get used to.)

Any time I tell myself I'm going to be doing a melee only playthrough, I always encounter some ranged weapon that just speaks to me on a primordial level.

Like, I get Melee is powerful and *can* out damage guns... but I just love the 44 and Trail Carbine.
