Watching GDT Stein glaze video essays as a form of self harm
WTF?
I remember the discourse was similar and even worse when the show was ongoing. Remember when Dany was labelled a bad victim because she was 'bragging about her rape' - their words - unlike good victim Sansa.
Even Benioff and Weiss joined in, talking about how Dany was bad because she did not cry while executing traitors while Sansa was good because she cried when LF died.
All the men are not bad despite not crying while killing people, but you know, Dany had to cry when doing the same because she's a woman! And because she failed to do so unlike pure, perfect specimen of femininity Sansa, she was evil.
There was so much misogyny dripping from D&D's writing that it's no wonder that the only character that came out on top was the tradfem icon Sansa Stark.

Soy Edric Dayne... Señor de Campoestrella.
"As sly as she is, Arya is not as smart as her sister S*nsa"
The fucking five books shows in every Arya chapter how smart, cunning and resourceful Arya actually is. Idk, man. I dont think you actually read her chapters.
(AGOT, Sansa I)
(AGOT, Arya V)
arya taking the time to get to know every single one of her father’s men, befriending everyone at winterfell without caring about their birth or station, and that knowledge being the thing that saves her from falling into the lannisters’ trap because they assume that little highborn girls don’t care enough about common guardsmen to actually know and recognize them. oh my arya underfoot the people’s princess :,)
Me barely having any contact with the asoiaf fandom for a looong while
Me: "Hey. Imma take a look on arya tag."
*A Post about how Arya would not have survived King's Landing*
Some things never change, do they?
watching house of the dragon has made me appreciate the starks a lot more cause they would neverrrr
the start of arya no good very bad road trip
tbh I don’t know how to color this but this was my best attempt
We should talk more about how Arya is a polyglot in this fandom. It is such an impressive achievement, and still so underrated.
