Your watercolor art is awesome! How did you get into it?

Thank you! I've always liked painting with watercolor. I believe High School I got into it... then came college, I didn't paint as much. Then after college I took classes again... NOW I NEED to get back into my watercolors! haha Hard to find time these days.

Last four shifts of working on my unit! Monday they're throwing me a party. I'm glad I got my first nursing experience with them. They really molded me into a nurse that I'm proud to be. They gave me amazing opportunities to grow and I can't thank them enough. HOWEVER! My nurse manager offered me an intermittent position! Come back once a month to work two days.... I'm taking that offer! Coming back to work with the veterans and seeing my friends and family while I'm home. Good deal! I love my grandpa patients! One of my grandpa patients said "You can't see the world if you don't cut the umbilical cord off" #cuttingitoff #excitedforCHLA #bittersweet #lovewhatidzo 😉

Thank you God for giving me this opportunity. For letting me be a nurse to care for people. Thank you for these past two days of intense interviewing and letting things fall into place. I'm truly blessed, grateful, and humble. Not only will I be going on a new adventure in life, I will also finally get to do what I've been wanting to do since day one... Taking care of little kiddos! Sometimes you wanna look back and think of all the things you can change or do differently. You wish that things weren't the way they were but you know you shouldn't. You try to find something you can place your blame on bc it will feel like there's a reason. But this is something I cannot touch. Today was a blur. My heart is in pain emotionally and physically. This feeling of being lost and not knowing what to do. I just want you to know I love you so much. You and Pretty are our babies. I didn't expect you to come in my life, But I'm glad you did. I have to stop being selfish bc now God has you in his hands. He will free you of cancer. I know you're resting in peace.... I hope that you love the view of the lake where we placed you.
