/// Rendezvous at Siargao

It's the first time that I travelled just to meet some strangers I first met online. Got a bit excited when I knew that we'll meet in Siargao.

Travelling by land also means that I get to visit other cities we pass by for the first time. These four and a half days has been a great experience.

A half day of travel with gloomy skies.

A half day travel to cross the island.

A half day of settling in.

A day of exploring a few places in the island.

A day full of emotions due to situations we cannot control.

A day of traveling back home.

Those days passed like it was just a dream. Now I'm back to reality but the memories I've gained are forever treasured.

And for the first time, when all was through, I told myself, "I definitely need to visit Siargao again."

See you all again in another planned trip we will have in the future.

For a long time, I have been planning to go camping just to experience how is it like to be in the wilderness. Imagining myself in the middle of a forest or kayaking in a lake or sitting on a riverside with a camp fire under a night sky full of stars. I have been longing to escape from the real world - work and everyday errands of life, and to indulge myself into what is more natural and organic - one with nature. But God diverted me into a different kind of solitude. One that is away but still inside. One in a middle of chaos but still has peace. One being sequestered but still is free. One in the essence of being by myself but not all alone. In this place, I have found my tranquility. In this one single space of the overlapping realms of heaven and earth, it brought me to experience what might be familiar but somehow feels new. This allows me to pursue God in a way that even if I already have Him, I still want more of Him.

Isa sa mga chada kaayo nga highlight nga nahitabo sa among trip sa Ozamis, apil na ang kasal sa akong childhood friend, kay ang among side trip sa HOYOHOY. Tell you, dili jud sayon ang dalan padulong didto. Naay isa ka part sa dalan nga grabe kahabog. Katong nilabay mi didto, kaming tanan nga naa sa sulod kay way tingganay, way ginhawaay kay kulbaan. Pero we conquered. Pag-abot sa taas, it was all worth it. It is an overlooking view sa cities and landscape. Presko ang hangin, bugnaw tapos grabe jud ka relaxing. It was great visiting that place uban ang duha sa akong mga igsuon ug among family friends. (We visited Hoyohoy after the wedding in that same day.) ----- So right before leaving, naay koy idea to shoot at the parking area. But akong friend gusto siya naay e-achieve nga shot. Bisag kulba ug delikado, we still did it anyway. And that's the photo you're all looking at. ----- This photo will always remind me of my friend's crazy idea which I shot including all the adventures on the whole trip leading to that moment. It was a 3-day trip of crazy talks, laughter and adventures with family and friends.

Loaded with information all around that does not make you worry if you get lost. People mixed from different countries around the world. I had the privilege and blessing to join the G12 Asia Conference for the first time. The conference was full of added wisdom, knowledge, revelations, realizations and learnings. At the same time, I had the chance to explore and visit some of the iconic places in Singapore. Here are few snaps of the places and buildings I've been able to visit. One memorable moment in Singapore was when I met Sami and Valentina by accident and was fortunate to have a convo with them. In summary, Singapore was a great experience for me. / long caption ahead / 5 years ago, we went to a resort and visited an island after our father's incident together with my 4 siblings and 2 in-laws. Coincidentally, (thanks to Facebook memories) we found out the we visited that same island on the same day (yesterday). We redid the photo, only now with my 4 siblings and 4 in-laws (odd one out 😝).
