I've just stumbled on the first Bella Phenomenon video and I have to say, what a truely incredible piece of work. Thank you for sharing it! I was curious to ask whether - in an imaginary ideal world in which you had limitless budget available to make the series - you would like the diaglogue to be voice acted, or if adherence to the traditional machinima style with subtitles is something you consider important to retain?

ok i need you to know that just by caring enough about the bella phenomenon to send an ask about it you have made my entire week 🥹

and i would love to have the bella phenomenon have full voice acting, it was just too daunting of a task for my very first machinima series. i wasn't even sure if i could make one at all! and while personally i do have lots of nostalgia for subtitled machinimas, as that's what i mostly grew up watching, i know having voice acting makes them more accessible (and also more popular), so i'm definitely not against it.

maybe in the future, if it's at all popular, we could switch to full voice acting! i just don't know how all that stuff works, and have horrible social anxiety + awkwardness, so it's a scary task lol

(plus, i imagine you have to have a script written for that to work, and let's just say im not so great at that...)

sorry it took so long to get to this! i made that animation with a custom rig i no longer have, on a version of blender i don't use, and i've since lost the original files and can't figure out how to export them properly from s4s. all that to say - i can't upload it anywhere! sorry!
