from that very dawn he’d spent with luna, max had started preparing to take her away from that house. the moment his sister asked him for drugs was the breaking point. he understood that if he - who’d inherited his father’s resilience - could cope with the emotional abuse (even if it meant turning to drugs to escape reality for just an hour or two), then luna couldn’t hold on any longer. she’d broken, and she’d broken for good. he didn’t want to watch his mother destroy his sister.

he didn’t have a single doubt that he’d done the right thing: he brought wolf in because he knew wolf was the only one he could trust with his sister’s safety. they’d drawn maps, checked the cameras, done everything max knew how to do. he’d grown up in a powerful family and, since childhood, had watched how his father worked: how he thought, how he made decisions, how he maintained that cold, calculating composure, how he stayed in control of the situation. max knew a lot of what his father knew. he knew how they’d be hunted and how to run. wolf got in touch with his friend travis - the it guy who helped set up sensors at the abandoned place, hide the data on their movements, and so on. the only thing max hadn’t accounted for was that his father taught at the very place where max had studied. * * * jacques had lived with a deep wound inside him for twelve years. hugo’s death was on isabelle’s conscience - she’d failed to watch him properly… he’d been at a meeting in another city when it happened. his child was gone, and something inside him snapped forever. for years, he’d been merciful, giving isabelle every chance to prove she could be a good mother. but today, with the house empty, with his children having run away because of their own mother, he stopped trying to hold on to what was tearing their family apart from within.

jacques was following the hot trail: he knew how his son operated - impulsively and recklessly. he’d figured that out back at the parking lot. and the bitterest realization that could have come to the father was this: luna had been right. the only thing left for him to do was to get rid of the main source of turmoil in the villareal household.

cuz omg how i have been in spirals lately, thinkin' abt em for AGES might as well do an edit w them. it was an idea in the back of my mind for a long while. wanting to wait after i show more personality w all of bar buddies. n i think. i cant wait anymore. frankly its kinda started with that max & rød solo edits theme shenanigans but i only connected it w them both being ‘captain’ or ‘leader’ BUT what if they have a song i relate it w them… my brain gonna- *explodes*

If I can say one thing about her it’s that she is so honest with herself and her feelings. The way she remembers him keeps changing through time. Not stuck but evolving. Now it’s…tender, grateful that it happened. Another kind of remembering, another kind of happiness.

For Simblreen, I decided to make something both spooky and magical... tarot cards of the Major Arcana for my SimLit fantasy story characters. It's taken a few days and this has been a plan of some sort for a few months now and glad I finally did them! There are a few minor differences, one template I used is slightly different to the other one I made and I kept accidentally alternating and one of them has a slightly different font on the numerals, but I'm happy with how these came out! I used this site for reference.

My favourites are Judgment, The Hierophant, The Emperor, The Moon and Death. What about yours? : 3
