Hey everyone! It’s pride month, and we’re still struggling. In the only study of intersex adults in the US that’s ever been done, 90% of intersex people report being in poor health, we’re more likely to be unemployed and poor, and the majority of intersex people report facing significant discrimination. It is not easy for us, especially those of us who are also marginalized in other ways, like intersex people of color and trans intersex people.

Intersex people, please add your payment links or donation requests to this post! You don’t have to be seriously struggling or explain your trauma in order to add your links. It’s pride, and you deserve support.

This is funny but I rlly wanna add some context bc I JUST had a fight about this: the opinion in question came from yt ppl watering down points that punks of color were making.

Like poc were saying that dressing like a punk and calling yourself one doesn’t mean shit if you don’t hold the values, which include not being racist but yt tiktok punks are notoriously bad at that. And then some yt ppl heard than And went “all punks have to be nice all the time 🥺🥺🥺🥺” and the other half went “you cant Gatekeep being a punk, we need to educate eachother ”. And it basically boiled down to each side reacted in a way that made them feel better, whether it was to seem like the saintly white ally or to double down in their og stance, but neither of them were actually listening to what we said and started fighting with eachother over it, it was so embarrassing 😭

okay i am going to make a new post for this.

hi! my name is bj. i'm a disabled aboriginal trans bisexual and i've been working very hard for the past few months trying to secure housing to escape an abusive parent and get into education. i struggle with chronic pain and fatigue so as you can imagine this has been very... hard.

GOOD NEWS: i found a place and i'm moving out as soon as friday, the 13th of may (may be later. hoping it won't be.)

BAD NEWS: i still live several hours away and don't have the funds to properly set myself up. i need help getting some basics like household items, food, transport + paying back some money i had to borrow to get through the past two months, and then towards rent.

funny how people act like mental illness is widely recognized and accepted and acted on better in current year because people with depression arent shunned anymore yet anybody with psychotic features/personality disorders/dissociative disorders/schizophrenia is still absolutely neglected and stigmatized and laughed at and are constantly the punch line for every joke and viewed with deep disgust by the majority of society
