Blew a 1000Uf16V capacitor in this little preamp for my turntable by plugging in the wrong power supply. I spotted the blown cap which is apparent when the top is like a dome instead of flat. Harvested an old cap from an old PCB and soldered it in place. Works good as new. “Knowing” is not always essential in electronics repair. Just match the numbers and search online for the technique (before you throw out a perfectly good $90 preamp in the garbage). https://ift.tt/3cQ5fNy
