Beyonce’s Ivy Park Too Far?
All of the Bey fans out there are supporters of her new fashion line Ivy Park, but some could argue that it’s really just the hype of the fact that it’s Beyonce. All it really is, is basic active wear that we all see in stores right now with big bold letterinf of IVY PARK. There is no creative aspect in the clothing design, or anything artistic about it. I think people are freaking out over a new sports bra and leggings just because Beyonce’s name is attached to the brand, not because the line is something cool and so different, it’s not new and it’s been done before. This is a really good example of celebrity advertising, and how big names have such strong power over retail and clothing.
