In the same year, 1993, George Soros established the Open Society Foundation in New York.

In December 1994, an NGO named Forum of Democratic Leaders in the Asia-Pacific (FDL-AP) was started.

On May 28, 2010, the UPA government released 25 terrorists as a goodwill gesture. Yes, 25 as a goodwill gesture. The most shocking part was that 'Latif' was also released, whose name was on the list with Masood Azhar but was not released at that time.

According to an RTI report, the government has no record of Sonia Gandhi's foreign trips between 2004 and 2014.

After 2011, Sonia Gandhi made several trips to the USA for 'medical' reasons. This information was also provided by Congress spokespersons, and that too after she left India!

Similarly, on November 30, 2015, she went to the USA for a 'medical checkup' for three days.

The UK & Europe, working in tandem with America have dominated the world economically, financially and culturally. Under American leadership, their militaries have combined under NATO, a military organisation, to ensure that their writ runs, across the world.

With a GDP of US$ 22 trillion, Europe and the UK are in a sense American vassals that are now in decline. Foolishly, they consider themselves militarily equal partners of America because America has mostly indulged and deferred to them.

America needs vassals, not partners, to take on competitors China and Russia. Under Putin's leadership, Russia has become impossible to dismember. This diminishes Europe's role and in turn that of NATO.

Then, there are personalities and the culture involved. Europe and America cannot see eye to eye on many things. NATO has outlived its utility and is certainly doomed to collapse, the question is, 'by when?'

President Trump despite his unusual and shocking style has excited everybody. There is a glimmer of hope. A beginning has been made to start dialogue with all belligerents, provocateurs and victims. 

There is now jostling for resources, and positions with the proposed American ceasefire proposal. It is doomed to failure, but that should not dishearten us, for success is the child of many failures.

5th March was the birth anniverasy of late Biju (Bijayananda) Patnaik (1916 - 1997), was not only the Chief Minister of Odisha, is the only person in India whose body was draped in the national flag of three countries. India, Russia, and Indonesia when he passed on.

Biju was also the Chief Minister of Odisha for 2 terms

Biju Patnaik was an air force pilot in the RIAF who was however jailed by the British for his patriotism.

He flew critical missions as a fighter pilot attacking HItler's forces on behalf of the Soviet Union during World War II, forcing Germany to retreat.

He was bestowed with the Soviet Union's highest award and also granted honorary citizenship.

When the Kabailis attacked Kashmir, it was Biju Patnaik who made several daring trips a day from Delhi to Srinagar on 27th Oct 1947 by flying a Dakota DC-3 and transporting the soldiers to Srinagar.

Indonesia was formerly a colony of the Dutch who occupied a large area of Indonesia. Dutch soldiers kept the whole sea around Indonesia under their control and they did not let any Indonesian citizen out.

Indonesia was freed from Dutch in 1945 and again in July 1947 PM Sutan Sjahrir was placed under house arrest by the Dutch.

The Indonesians sought India's help.

Indian PM asked Biju Patnaik to rescue the then-Indonesian PM Sjahrir and bring him to India.

Shri Biju Patnaik agreed to go to Indonesia on the condition that Sikh Regiment soldiers and officers accompany him.

On 22nd July 1947, Biju Patnaik and his wife took a Dakota plane without caring for their life, while flying over the control area of the Dutch, they landed on their soil and showing great bravery brought the Indonesian Prime Minister to India safely via Singapore.

The incident developed a tremendous energy in the Indonesians and they attacked the Dutch soldiers and Indonesia achieved complete independent country.

Later, when the daughter of Indonesian President Sukarno was born, he called Biju Patnaik and his wife to name the newcomer.

Then Biju Patnaik and his wife named the daughter of the President of Indonesia Meghawati. Indonesia granted honorary citizenship and award 'Bhumi Putra' of the country to Biju Patnaik and his wife in 1950. Later he was awarded the highest honorary award of Indonesia 'Bintang Jasa Utma' on their 50th year of independence.

Upon his death, Biju Patnaik, seven days of state mourning were observed in Indonesia, one day of state mourning was observed in Russia, and their flags flew at half mast to mourn his passing.

Why they cannot figure out Trump

Michael Wolff is a Trump hater. His opinion is formed first, then he tries to justify painting Trump to fit that image. This suits the British paid media.

Meanwhile, writers and intellectuals remain unknown and unappreciated. Most people prefer shallowness and mental sedation. A person who numbs us into oblivion or entertains us with trivialities is more favored than one who awakens us to reality and pains us with the truth.

That is why democracy is not suitable for ignorant societies—because the ignorant majority will be the one deciding your fate."

Indigenous Intercultural Health in Chile

Since the return to democracy in Chile in 1990 CE, the new governments have dealt with one of the great historical debts of the Chilean state, its relationship with the indigenous peoples. These peoples have been historically marginalized and made invisible in all spheres. However, with the revaluation of their cultural heritage, indigenous medicine and the use of elements of nature and medicinal herbs - wisdom accumulated for centuries - re-emerges. Through the Special Program of Health and Indigenous Peoples (PESPI by its Spanish acronym, Programa Especial de Salud y Pueblos Indígenas), present in almost all health services in Chile, indigenous medicine has become available for the whole population as a valued alternative within the official medical system. This programme promotes complementarity between the conventional and indigenous medical systems, incorporating intercultural medical assistance in hospital and primary care facilities.

Traditional Mapuche Health

The PESPI programme promotes the indigenous health of each of the peoples recognized by the Chilean State (Chile recognizes 9 indigenous peoples) and the complementarity with the official medical system. The public health strategy is to establish a link between the hegemonic medical system and the alternative one, reinforced and supported by the recommendations of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Convention 169 of the International Labor Organization (ILO):

This perspective assumes, therefore, that medical systems alone are not sufficient to meet the health demands of an indigenous population, both in their conceptions of health and disease and in the way they carry out healing. (Manriquez-Hizaut et al., 760)

The Mapuche people are the most numerous and have the greatest presence in the urban context, particularly in Santiago where nearly a third of Chile’s indigenous population lives. Their conception of illness and health is quite different from the one we know today, and this diverse view has generated interest not only among the Chilean indigenous population who value this ancestral wisdom but also among the non-indigenous population and the health teams in care facilities.

Mapuche medicine understands health as a balance basically in two areas. Firstly, the person is conceived as an “open body”, as opposed to the modern view of a closed and divided body (inaugurated with Descartes): “The integrative conception of the body or "open body” leads its people to live illness and health as states of the body in relation to its social environment: “wezafelen” or being bad and “kumel kalen” or being good" (Solar, 2005, 2).

The idea of kumel kalen or küme mongen (to be well, to live well) is also present in other Latin American cultures under the concepts of Sumak Kawsay in Quechua or Suma Qamaña in Aymara for example. The illness is then understood as a lack of respect or imbalance of the individual with its environment. This can happen through the transgression of laws, rites, or the forbidden. In this way, “the evil is not the disease, but the cause that produced it and thus considers the disease not as an evil, but as a reaction to the evil” (Solar, 4).

Secondly, the Mapuche worldview sees the universe or the whole as a unit made up of opposite and complementary poles. Likewise, health (Konalen) and illness (Kutran) are in constant tension, making it impossible to see the body as an isolated unit, but rather as an open entity that reflects the tensions and balance of the world. Thus, in order to incorporate the indigenous approach to the traditional health system, the only way is to talk about complementarity, that is, a relationship that allows health teams to get closer to indigenous medicine specialists (machi or lawentuchefe), that allows for the derivation and exchange of knowledge when necessary.

The Missing Letter Conspiracy

The President of Bangladesh is in a fix.

He took ‘incentives’ and agreed to be a part of the Coup. He had just one job to do. Appointment Muhammad Yunus as ‘interim’ head.

But for that, he needed Sheikh Haseena’s resignation.

As per script, Sheikh Haseena was to be coerced into coming and giving her resignation.

The Army Chief was supposed to collect the resignation and send it to the President.

Sheikh Haseena seems to have conveyed that she has sent the resignation, and was given safe passage.

There is a script which Uncle follows, when it comes to toppling a leader. This has been in place since the ousting of Ceaușescu in Romania.

It involves… (i) Storming of the palace (ii) Looting and sacking of the palace (iii) Showing the Despot’s ‘golden toilet’ (iv) Hunting and killing of the ‘Despot’ (v) Decapitating and toppling of statues (vi) Alternate Government formed.

These steps have more or less remained the same, and by now, are fixed tropes.

Everybody, since Ceaușescu, from Saddam to Gaddafi, have been subjected to it.

Thus, there was a playbook with a number of touch points to be actioned within the day. The first of which was ‘Flight of the Despot’, which was the cue to declare resignation.

The President, without getting any ‘resignation letter’, under time pressure, declared that Sheikh Haseena has resigned, and thus provided the cue for the rest of the program to start.

The program started, but it was only while it was well on its way that the ‘powers-that-be’ realised that there was no resignation letter.

The Army Chief thought on his feet, got a photograph of Sheikh Haseena signing a Guest Book and stated that this was the image of her signing her resignation.

After a few days, when things settled, Sheikh Haseena quietly released a ‘recording’ stating that she had never resigned.

This put everyone in a fix.

Because now : (i) The President had lied. (ii) The Army Chief had lied. (iii) The ‘interim’ Government had no parliamentary standing. (iv) In case of things turning everything could be labelled as ‘treason’.

The clamour to get Sheikh Haseena extradited went up. But no one was budging.

Meanwhile, most Awami League high command, those who had been left behind, slowly moved out of Bangladesh.

As they moved out, the interim Government realised that they had emptied out the coffers too.

Now the President was asked to show proof of resignation. After all, you cannot take ‘incentives’ and not fulfil service level agreements for the Uncle.

The President balked and pushed the issue to the Army Chief

The Army Chief balked and washed his hands clean.

The President now declared that there was no resignation letter.

This has made the interim Government as constitutionally illegal.

The interim Government is hopping mad! Because now they do not have any locus standi.

Now it wants to agitate and bring the President down. Towards which they are sending thousands to storm his residence and put pressure on him to resign.

Thus there is a big move afoot to declare him either ‘incapable’ or ‘unconstitutional’.

But the President is the only constitutional seat holder. The rest all are extra constitutional.

Thus, if he is ‘incapable’ or ‘unconstitutional’, then what is the basis of the ‘interim Government’?

Meanwhile, Sheikh Haseena is set to announce a Government in exile, and officially the legitimate Government.

The whole exercise of toppling might be lost for the want of a single ’resignation letter’!

Can the conspiracy get more interesting than this?
