GRRM has creative control. 

A woman is the showrunner. 

Naomi Watts is headlining the first season. 

The cast is pretty diverse. 

The cast is even between men and women. 

An Asian woman is directing the pilot. 

D&D are not touching any of it. 

And it’s supposed to be about the origin of Starks and the origin of white walkers. 

I am…interested.
