The Future of Wolves’ Planet
For those who have kept track of this journey, @rhombusgirl and @theoriginalcarnivorousmuffin started Wolves’ Planet, the web comic, two years ago now. The Carnivorous Muffin wrote the story, rhombusgirl did the art. The web comic ended up not working out, we briefly flirted with making a visual novel, and later a JRPG. That said, it was always sort of a wish list project for rhombusgirl as being a professional artist, it’s difficult for her to take a risk for a time consuming independent project like this which has no guarantee of income. However, rhombusgirl simply does not have the time to work on this project. As a result, neither a visual novel nor a JRPG will realistically happen.
I, The Carnivorous Muffin, am still interested in pursuing this project and will likely transform it into a novel. Though this is purely in the very beginning planning stages. If others have other formats they’d like to see Wolves’ Planet turned into, let me know, though keep in mind rhombusgirl is not available as an artist. As any major updates are made, I’ll reblog them here to keep people aware of progress. Thanks to everyone who’s supported us over the years, supported the story, and been as eager as we have been to see it grow and prosper. I’m sorry that it didn’t work out in its current form, but hopeful that it’s not completely dead in the water.
