I can't sleep and I'm thinking about Lloydven.
I'm thinking about Raven laying awake at night plagued by insecurities while Lloyd sleeps next to him. He can feel the weight of his partner in the bed, hear the soft noises of his breathing, but he feels a million miles away, in his head about a passing remark or an action done slightly differently and what that may or may not mean.
I'm thinking about Lloyd as a doll, physically unable to sleep, watching Raven sleep curled up at his side after they reunited. He struggles a little with just laying there when he used to do things at all hours, but he's content to just observe every little detail he can perceive about his partner as he rests.
I'm thinking about Raven after a fight, having spent nights in bed with countless others, wishing Lloyd was beside him, knowing that nobody else is capable of filling that gap. I'm thinking about Lloyd after a fight, happy for the quiet time apart, but feeling the creep of coldness and anger eat at the edges of his consciousness, wishing that Raven was beside him, knowing that his days were getting just a little too predictable.
I'm thinking about Lloyd heading back to their shared home after staying up into the early hours talking with Isabela, stifling yawns, looking forward to getting in bed and Raven waking up just enough to cuddle up with him before falling back asleep, the warmth of his love and the scotch allowing him to follow suit soon after.
I'm thinking about Raven staying up to watch Lloyd sleep after he gets his body back, knowing that he's still recovering and building strength. Raven worries a little but also is so pleased to feel the warmth of his body, and watch the rise and fall of his chest, and to hear the soft little barely awake noise he makes in happiness as Raven settles in beside him to sleep.
