i think any reunion would be a Mess™️. they’d be angry at el. el, bless her, would be blaming herself. mike ‘el has never been wrong’ wheeler would be swinging on everyone for having the audacity to try to move on.

i think there’d be an insane amount of GUILT. everyone is blaming everyone AND themselves. they were put in a horrific situation as children and, as angry as the show has made me in the end, they should afford themselves grace by virtue of that alone. but i don’t think they would.

i think, funny enough, lucas and nancy would be most forgiving. they saw mike tying the noose - they’d be too RELIEVED to feel anything else. and if anyone knows what it’s like to have your soulmate come back from the dead, it’s lucas. there’s no room for resentment in them when a miracle is granted

It’s so frustrating because they genuinely struck gold with el/hopper in season 2. Like their storyline is up there with mileven with me. Millie and David were so good together too! And honestly thinking about hopper in the epilogue now genuinely makes me angry. And David’s fuck ass answer the other day pissed me off even more
