[ Aftermath ] Fiona sighed as she left Glare's hospital room in her wheelchair heading back to her room, covered in bandages and two cast on her leg and arm. After talking with both Glare and Lucia, she felt both relieved and ashamed. She should've know better after her first instincts told her something was up the first night. But still...

Rosemary of course had to visit Fiona from what have happened, she didn’t tell her husband about the news yet but if she did the problem would have gotten worse. As she searched for the vixen’s room, she tried her best to hold back her tears. Who knows what else could happen to her if she kept on being hurt, but the injuries had to stop. Finally reaching to the door, the fox froze with fear and sadness. Tears started to fall from her eyes.

Fiona had just let out a string of curses as she struggled to get up off the floor, but could only move her left arm to pick herself up. The vixen had the unfortunate to tumble and fall on her way back to her room due to her tripping on the doorway.

She looked up and froze however from doing anything else once she spotted who was at the door. “Mom…”

The fox didn’t expect to see her daughter in this much pain, this was heartbreaking for her. “Fiona....My poor fox...” She gently picked the vixen off the floor, wrapping her left arm around her neck. Rosemary took slow steps to Fiona’s bed, letting her walk with her good leg, “W-what happened to you..?”

The dragon nodded as she and Amadeus left the mansion grounds to head over to the one of the parks in the Tourmaline District. It was the perfect day to travel as well.

“I always enjoy coming to this sector.” She commented.

The commander followed the dragon to the park by her side, everything was going great so far. Amadeus nodded with a agreement. “This place is wonderful, I’m very impress of what you did to build the city Iris.”

Outside, Glare had heard the whole argument. After Fiona stormed off, the fox tried to remain hidden, not wanting to cause trouble between them. When the coast was clear, she made her way to try and talk to Iris. Maybe the two of them could figure out what was going on...

The office door would be open to reveal a certain distressed dragon who shapeshifted in her human form. The situation must’ve seemed bad if the mayor resorted to her human form. She sat down on her desk slowly, murmuring to herself with a hand to her head.

Before the door opened, Iris reverted back to her mobian form. She didn’t believe she had the moment to explain to Rosemary that she can shape shift. “Hello, Rosemary.” She greeted as she walked in. “We are glad to see you as well… though I’m afraid we’ve come for your assistance rather than a pleasant visit.”

“Exactly.” Glare replied with a nod, pretty much letting Iris explain everything.

“Oh of course, have a seat.” Rosemary said as she closed the door behind her before she sat down on her chair. She wondered what was so important that Iris and Glare needed help with. “What do you need?”

“Perhaps it would be best if you tell her about what’s been going on with Fiona, as you’re the one who’s been experiencing it firsthand.” she told Iris.

Rosemary herself was calming reading the newspaper that she recently got, before turning to the next page her eats twitched from hearings the door being knocked. The fox quickly stood up as she walked towards the door and opening it to see who it was.As the door was opening Rosemary saw both of familiar face which was Iris and Glare. “Ah, it’s good to see the both of you here again, please come in.” She said, opening the door wider, allowing the dragon and fox come inside

"Hello?" Speaking of the devil, sounding of the familiar voice of said daughter. "Mom? Daddy?"

“Over here Fiona…..” Rosemary said, already knowing who it was. It was a bit embarrassing that she is seeing her like this.

When Fiona turned around the corner to find her parents, to here surprise was to see her wife standing there? “Ri-Ri? What are you doing here? I thought you couldn’t come cause of that meeting.” The vixen stated as she approached Iris, ready to wrap an arm around her waist.

“About that....I’m not actually Iris, it’s me your mother.” The dragon..urm fox gave a nervous chuckle at the vixen, she knew already what her reaction might be. “Please don’t freak out, a random anon just came and did the spell. Not only have I gotten it but also your father..”

Ivy, may I talk to you?

“But of course, Rosemary. Is something wrong?”

Letting go of the dragon, she realized she learn an important lesson in life that she should remember. She was glad to have a caring person by her side, she wouldn’t know who to ask if she didn’t know Ivy. Rosemary enjoyed having her as a close friend.

“Of course, I’m always up for more of your delicious tea.” The fox chuckled as she held her cup.

And more tea she poured for her vixen friend as Ivy felt very joyful. She honestly didn’t know what to make of the creatures on this planet at first, but they reminded Ivy so much of themselves. She definitely would look forward to see what her friendship with Rosemary will lead in the future.

“I know, ma. And no, Dad doesn’t know and I don’t think I can tell him… at least not yet. But you’re right, he wouldn’t be able to handle it.” The vixen agreed as she laid back down. Who knows what Amadeus would say?

Hearing the sound of the door being closed, a certain fox have arrived. “Is anyone home?” A familiar voice coming through the hallway, the sound of stepping was heard louder and louder. Amadeus saw both of the women at the living room. “Ah Fiona, it’s good to see my-” The commander paused as he scanned his daughter and he easily became worried seeing Fiona with cuts and bruises. “Fiona?! What has happened to you?! I need an explanation right now.” Amadeus said with a serious voice but of course he was still worried but also angry.

Ivy, may I talk to you?

“But of course, Rosemary. Is something wrong?”

The emerald queen accepted the hug from her friend, happy that she was able to make Rosemary feel better. She is such a dear and to have the plague of the past involving your children to haunt you was one of the most terrifying things to have.

“Anytime, darling. I will always be here should you need my assistance.” Ivy said, pulling away before offering the tea kettle. “More tea?”
