"Yare yare! You're in the right place, right time! Miyaki here, I'm the bassist for Momentum in Motion. They call me the red-headed stepchild of the band, because I'm a wild one.

Right place, right time was where I was when I auditioned for this band, too. As I blew away the competition...not that there was much...and locked in a place here.

I'm also working on some Japanese language punk rock material, so I could fit in as the Japanese vocalist for the band. But, I've gotta earn my right to do that.

It takes a lot of hard work and determination to make a successful band, and while we don't all fit 100% together, personality-wise, we share one goal, and that's climbing our way to the top.

"Greetings. I'm Aya, the keyboardist for Momentum in Motion.

When I auditioned for the band, I admittedly wasn't certain if my skill would be enough to make it, but Jennifer and Stephanie were quite pleased, that they brought me on in a heartbeat.

Since then, our band has become a bit like a sisterhood, as we've all grown so close in so little time, though we're still clawing our way up to stardom.

Though, that shared drive...that shared fire inside to keep getting better...is part of what draws us closer.

Sometimes, my modelling schedule gets in the way of practice, but my bandmates rally behind me in that, just as much as they do when it comes to the band, itself.

We're working hard on some material for the holiday season, so keep an eye out. Looking forward to meeting new people and spreading our passion. Mataatode!"

New Muses Incoming

(That's right, I've thought up some new characters that will be added to the blog very, very soon. I'm currently working on putting their profiles together on the blog page, and once everything is right as I feel it should be, I'll be making some introductory posts for each one. Why for each one, you might ask? Because they're members of a fictional band I've come up with. As I've said before, I've been highly inspired by music anime and this project is one result.

I will give a little preview detail, though.

The band consists of two close friends of Rebecca's who have moved to Tokyo with the goal of starting a bilingual band.

The lead guitarist/vocalist and drummer are the two aforementioned friends, while the bass guitarist and keyboardist are locals, recruited to the band.

Their name? 'Momentum in Motion'. And they will soon be joining the muse roster on here. Prepared to get rocked!)

Back on track (or at least, trying to) (OOC)

(Apologies for coming back, only to disappear once again. Let's just say that the motivation I had at the time quickly faded off before I could even get anything going here.

Anyway, this time around, I'm a bit more motivated, including the motivation to potentially add a few more canon anime muses to this blog, and possibly another OC that fits in an anime setting.

Been also thinking up some additional canon details for my main anime-setting OC, Rebecca. I've fiddled around in my mind of her being a budding musician and singer, looking to put together a group of musicians for a band that plays covers of popular 'western' rock songs, since English is her native language.

While this thought has been in my mind for quite a while, watching some popular music anime (Bocchi the Rock (hence why I have Nijika on my muse list) and Girls Band Cry, specifically). If I was able to find anyone who RPs characters from either series, that would be incredible.

Anyway, in the next few days, I plan to get some starters up with her.)

A welcome back.

(Hello, everyone. I know it's been a while, and after taking some time to think things over, I've come to the decision that I'm ready to get back into the RP community here.

I really missed this place, and have lurked around a little. Plus, I had to download Xkit Rewritten on my new laptop, so there's that as well, but that was a minor detail, not something that was too critical to this decision.

So, yeah...I'm back, and I'm ready to get back into things. Hope to interact with you folks soon!)

Notice: Indefinite Hiatus

(So, after taking some time to think things over, I've decided that I'm going to put this blog on an indefinite hiatus.

I've come to the realization that spending time on this site has actually had a negatve effect on any motivation I've had.

But, I'm still motivated to roleplay, so if any of my mutuals (who aren't already) are interested in keeping any existing threads going, I'm available over on Discord (@glarethefox).

I'm also considering setting up a roleplay server for anime/manga canon and OC characters, primarily in the 'slice-of-life' fashion, so if anyone's interested in that, feel free to let me know.

My DMs will still be open here, but I'll probably only check once a week, if that. The best way to keep in touch will be through Discord.

Hopefully, at some point, I'll be able to come back here on a regular basis, but for now...this will be the last post I make here for the time being. This post will also be queued, so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.)

(As of late, I've started to feel like I've lost much of the motivation I've had in the past for roleplaying. I find myself considering sending asks to others, but deciding not to. Most of the folks I've interacted with in the past are no longer here/active, and the few I have are either less active, active when I'm not around, or don't seem to show any interest, even after having been mutuals for years. I also struggle to try to find new people to interact with, and most of the few that I do try following don't follow back (that's obviously their choice, not criticizing that). Like I'm not finding the right crowd to be around. So, at this point, I'm struggling to see much of a reason to keep trying. Like I should walk away and make a better use of my time. But I'm not 100% certain one it. Rather, it's more like a 'Will I or Won't I?' kinda thing. Teetering back and forth. So, I'm seeking some advice from the few active friends I have left on here. Should I try to gain my motivation back and give it another shot, or should I go ahead with calling it quits? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.)
