Hmm, I don't want to shift the conversation completely to my Kansai idols just yet, since, well, this blog already screams my love for them, so let me just go into the middle ground of my likes. When it comes to k8 and games, WE'RE TALKING MONHAN. FFFFFFF This game is friggin awesome and all monster-beating game just pales in comparison once you've had the hunter experience. Of course I did go through the noob phase where you can't even properly shift your view towards the monster, much less damage it without suddenly dropping to barbeque some meat, but once you get a good feel of this game, you'll spend a good hundred or thousand hours in it. At least I did. I'm in about a thousand hours playing solo in games released prior MH4U. It's a pain to play solo esp on G rank but meh I survived... barely, but I did, lol. I DO PLAY MH4U, mostly as a random, since I have been addicted to playing with groups and, well, #JeSuisMonte2015!
I'm currently on rehab via this other game, Rune Factory 4 where Dylas is my waifu and my husbando is Leon, with Arthur as a side. There's also Story of Seasons with whom I married Nadi the tsundere prince. I was going for the deredere Raeger, but his dating dialogues are glitched and I'm not into once-in-a-blue-moon romance even if it means I get to bag the sweetest 2D ikemen chef ever. To be honest, I would have gone for do-S Mistel, but then my sister wanted the shota and I'm not one for sharing husbands with one's siblings.
And that is how I basically spend all my free time aside from sorta stanning Kansai idols, I guess.
My main fandoms are Kanjani8 and Johnny's WEST. I'm a low key eighter now, but k8 is still my to-go-to group. Most of my posts and reblogs will still be about them. I fully support the idea of them dating and marrying, 'cause god forbid charming middle-aged men from procreating. Black-haired Yoko is the only Yoko I like, unless we're talking junior age. Subaru is still a delight to see on stage, but I don't like his voice as much as I used to. Hina is perfect. Maru is also perfect. Yasu is cutest and also perfect. Ryo is creepy, occasionally cute, but 90% of the time creepy. It's an endearing type of creepy until you stare at certain screencaps eighters make. I'm indifferent with Okura. Aside from the epic puns his name brings, I just don't like him the way I used to before. He was my bias after I was Ryo-bait, but that didn't last long. Now I just occasionally appreciate his presence and laughter.
I have this thing for HinaYasu ever since the moment Hina always asked Yasu to go out and eat with him but Yasu always refused AND HOW HINA WAS ALL, "AFTER REFUSING ME, MARU WENT 'SHO-CHAN, LET'S GO GET DINNER~' THEN YOU INSTANTLY SAID YES! WHY?! DO YOU HATE ME?!?!?!?!?!" AND YASU SAYS NO WITH A POKER FACE *breathes* and that moment dates way back in the days but the feels remain, they remain. I also have a thing for YamaDa. The yama works for both yamas. Do I even need to explain the true YamaDa? ;~; I mean the cuteness! And while they were all over each other before, now that their ~moments~ have become rare, WHENEVER THEY DO SOMETHING, EVERY TIME IT'S LIKE A FRIGGIN' HIT AT "I miss doing this *shy smile*", "When have we started growing apart? *painful smile*", "Let's catch up with each another~" AND ALL OTHER SHOUJO MANGA FEELS. The second YamaDa aka KiCyu pair is a bit different since they're my brotp. I MEAN YASU ALWAYS WITH THAT 'CONCERN' AND YOKO WITH THAT I CARE ABOUT YOU ALL TOO BUT I'M JUST GOING TO STAND HERE WITH A PROUD FATHER SMILE WHILE YOU ALL GO ACCOMPLISH THINGS AH THE YEARS GO BY SO FAST. AND YASU TEASES HIM ABOUT THAT AND YOKO DENIES ALL HIS FEELS AND YASU CALLS HIM ALL THE MORE FOR THAT AND YASU CALLS YOKO NII-SAN OMFG. But the pairing in first place for me would be YokoMaruasklhsdalsfhkdjfhllsad;f ;~; I mean with Maru always chasing Yoko and blatantly declaring his love for him ;~; AND THOSE TIMES WHEN YOKO JUST SEEMS TIRED OF RUNNING AWAY ALKSDHFDSKLFHSAKL;J AND HIM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE INNER WORKINGS OF MARU'S MIND BUT FAILING, SO HE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT TO DO IN RESPONSE, BUT WE ALL DO KNOW THAT HE IS LIKE CHARMED TO HELL BY MARU LIKE THE EFFECT MARU HAS ON ALMOST ANYONE AND HE ALSO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RESPOND TO THOSE KIND OF FEELINGS HE HAS AND IT'S ALL. FREAKIN' ALL. JUST ALL GIVING ME FEELS OKAY ;~;
MOVING ON TO, JOHNNY'S WEST. I CANNOT EVEN STRESS HOW MUCH I WAITED FOR THE NEXT KANSAI GROUP TO DEBUT. LIKE FOR HOW MANY YEARS HAVE I SEEN MY PRECIOUS KANSAI BABIES RULE OVER SHOKURA AND NAIL ALL OTHER SHOWS LIKE PROS AND STILL NOT GET ANY RECOGNITION FOR IT. I've been watching over them since B.A.D. was good (not yet great), since BOYS had an 's', and since Veteran were novices. I have to admit that I'm still slightly bitter over the fact that none of the Veterans made it to the team.
...who am I kidding. I am still deeply bitter about the fact that only 3 from BBV have debuted. That is the main reason why I left J&A fandom for a couple of years right after the JCD announcement. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely like 7WEST, but I think BBV and 7WEST would've debuted as separate groups if they were treated like the Jrs in Tokyo. BBV and 7WEST just seemed to differ in concept, image, and targeted audience to me. Maybe BBV could've had their debut, if it wasn't for Hama-chan's former partner in crime committing a crime. I absolutely loved the man, but I really can't help but resent him a little for that.
But, hey. All's good. The senpai-kouhai relationship between B.A.D.+ Hama-chan and 7WEST was good, especially JuntaX7WEST LOL. I'm still wondering where their group is headed to and what image they're trying to project. But in the mean time, I'll just sit back and enjoy their interactions, how they play with their group's image (Ah! Maybe they're going for a GAP group? PLEASE DO), shows, and skits, while secretly hoping they release official tracks for their songs back when they were juniors, especially B.A.D's. Seriously though, their songs aren't even the type that could be passed along the younger generation. Kowaresou, V.I.P, Magnetic Heart, and etc. wouldn't even sound okay, if they weren't the ones singing it. Stay Gold will forever be the song that would give me terrible feels, especially if Hama-chan was to sing it all alone.
JUST, I LOVE JWEST TO BITS. THEY'RE ALL LIKE THE YOUNGER BROTHER I NEVER HAD (though almost half of them are older than me, lol). I'm pretty happy to be a Jasmine so far.
